The chateau is amazing. Beautiful grounds and well appointed chambres. Traditional French breakfast was lovely. Close to the ramparts across from the jardins. Will definitely be back to stay longer in Vannes.

Very close to old walled part of the city. Parking is tough. Ask ahead for options. The host was very gracious. Great shower and tasty breakfast.

Christine the hostess welcomed us warmly and showed us the facility of hotel. Although available for us we did not use the spa. We were able to find free street parking near the hotel. Walking to the old town takes 10 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay

La Maison de la Garenne is a lovely, old three story mansion near the top of a small hill, and next to a park, just beyond the old city walls. It has about five rooms. Ours was a perfectly adequate size room, with a four poster bed, on the top floor (no elevator but the stairs are easy) overlooking the park. Breakfast (with cereal, eggs to order, yogurt, croissants, breads, juices) is on the second floor. Parking for a car is available €13/night) in the courtyard in front of the mansion but is limited. Free parking is available near by. The hostess/owner could not be more pleasant or helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison de la Garenne. The maison is simply stunning and the inside is just as beautiful. Our room was immaculate and had a lovely view over the garden, where there is a small pool. The breakfast was also fab, and the owner really lovely and helpful. The Maison is well positioned in Vannes and a 2 min walk from the old town and a short walk to the marina (where we had a wonderful dinner) I would highly recommend staying here and would certainly stay again!

Maison de Garenne is a beautiful property within walking distance from the buzz in Vannes. The rooms were well equipped with toiletries, bathrobes, tea/coffee etc. The outside has a lovely spa pool with luscious garden for you to sit out in. The hostess was charming and was so very helpful when we had to change our plans slightly. She also recommended places for us to go and eat .The breakfast was made up of a selection of home made goodies and pastries. A wonderful stay

We stayed relaxing and quite environment in Vannes thanks to this charming Chambre d'hote. It has 5 rooms, but looks nice. Ours was the deluxe type, which was opened in July. Therefore, the bedroom was new, clean with the basic colour was white and woody and a hint of red. The landowers are nice and gentle persons and the assistants ladies are helpful and very nice. The location is also good. It is just in front of the main gate to the castle. we enjoyed breakfast, too.

By the sea in an ancient city, this small hotel offers everything: proximity to many tourist attractions and to the old port, lovely facilities in a beautiful old mansion, cleanliness, quietness. The best!
