Cockroaches, refrigerator didn't work, lousy housekeeping, magnetic card to open door had to be continuously reprogrammed because it would not let me in.

I booked a room here through Expedia for Saturday 8/31 of Labor day weekend. Many other hotels were full, but I thought the Red Lion Brand could be counted on as at least a decent hotel. Wrong! When I pulled into the parking lot there were at least 15 people milling around various parts of the parking lot, some openly doing drugs. 1 guy peeing in the parking strip. 1 lady drinking from a hose connected to the building. Most looked high, homeless and opportunistic. I had visions of walking out the next morning to find my truck up on blocks and no sign of my 2 bicycles which were securely locked to it. The 2 east indian guys behind the counter seemed indifferent to all the goings on at their hotel. I told them I didn't feel safe staying there and asked for a refund. They told me they would contact Expedia to approve it but that I had to initiate the refund process with Expedia, not them. Expedia said "after multiple tries, we weren't able to obtain an approval from the property manager, regarding your refund request". They offered me $?? in one key cash "as a gesture of goodwill". So now I'm out the hotel rate, -$?? for a room I never stayed in. No more Red Lion or Expedia. I'll save the review of Expedia's "customer service" for later.

I was very disappointed to say the least. The staff was unprofessional and appeared to be under the influence of something. The area felt unsafe and my door to my room didn’t lock. My bed sheets were dirty, with black little hairs all over them and a burn hole. The room smelt like stale smoke.

I didn't like the fact it's in the shady part of town. It was also run down the inside looks good in lobby until you got to your room then it was sad and depressing.

Toilet broken, refrigerator broken, smelled so badly of cigarettes. The hallways smelled like weed. Someone pounding on my door at 10pm and again at 5am. Staff entering my room but not cleaning it and my bf found a bug in the fridge. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had.

Old sticky carpet, leaky faucet, homeless camp at the end of the street, people living in side room near lobby. Barely clean enough to sleep. AC worked good but loud. Not recommended, try the other Red Lion in town.

Prostitution in and around building, homeless/drug addict people in front of entrance to front desk, 24/7 homeless/drug addict people around the building/in parking lot, and across the street, broken glass in parking lot, loose dogs running around the halls and lobby in hotel….. Honestly we were so uncomfortable to leave our room. We felt unsafe when we entered the property and when we left. We stayed because we had already arrived and probably would’ve got our money back. This is not a place for families or children.

When we showed up there were drug addicts on the streets. Homeless shelter across the street. Very unsafe for a family. We didn’t stay left to a safer hotel. Do not stay here!

Honestly, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in

At check he was great and made sure i had a room on the 1st floor but after that it was terrible. The room was clean but no tissues and i asked the front desk staff to please bring some to my room as my fiance was still there but she didn't. Then no coffee in the room so woke up to late for breakfast so got some coffee but it ran out and they said breakfast was over so the would not make any more. I have NEVER been to a motel/hotel where there was no coffee maker in the room and have coffee in the lobby all day! Even the budget motels have a coffee maker in the room. They're was a microwave and small refrigerator so why no coffee maker? Worst customer service ever!

This property was beyond disgusting. It smelled like urine. Doors were broken off the hinges. There were strung prostitutes snd gang bangers hanging out in the parking lot. We could see from the parking out that the window coverings were broken. There was a drunk or high lady pushing a cart full of dirty laundry into her room and we were checking in at 9 pm. When we got our key the hallway was so dirty it had not been cleaned in years. The keys to the doors didn’t work. There were holes in the walls and blood stains also. It smelled like a drug den. We walked out snd will never be back. This is the worst hotel we have ever been to. We will never be back.
