We checked in around 10pm, went straight to bed and got up early for a campus tour. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was good, but we were only there for 10 hours.

Staff are very nice and rooms and common areas are attractive. Ample free parking in the garage though you have to walk down a driveway to get to it. Breakfast was okay and there's in-room fridge and microwave. I liked having the option to decline housekeeping as it's less hassle that way.
Main drawback here is location, unless you're going to the ball park or the Southern Belle. There's not much else around, you have to walk about 15 minutes or else drive to find coffee, restaurants and shops. Hotel has no restaurant or food beyond breakfast and doesn't even offer all-day coffee. Also some sketchy activity happening in the building next door/ adjacent to the parking garage, that involved a few dozen people on a Sunday afternoon hanging around the garage dressed in revealing clubwear smoking cannabis and blasting very loud rap music that could be clearly heard from my 6th floor room. For location and dining, the UD Marriott is nicer, or else I'd try to stay closer to the Oregon District.

The gentleman at the counter was awesome. Breakfast was better than most hotels.
Parking was easy. The little river walk nearby was cute. Breweries in area were great.

We look forward to our annual stay at this Fairfield every year and it never disappoints. Same for this year however there was an issue with the outdoor patio - too many bird feathers everywhere to be able to enjoy sitting outside.

room was clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and the shower was really nice, with good soap/shampoo provided. i appreciated having a microwave and fridge in the room and being a short walk away from the convention center, Arby’s, a cute independent cinema, and a nice little park. the included breakfast options were really good too, and for a variety of dietary needs. would recommend this hotel!

Across from ballpark! Across from park and river. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was the tv didn't get the big Euro and Copa soccer tourneys.

Completely satisfied customer here. Front desk staff have warm wonderful personalities. At check-in, the first woman I encountered was very generous with her time and advice on where to shop, eat, etc. Great location. Loved the noise machine on the nightstand and the shower, too. You do need the noise machine as the walls are thin. Just saying!

Hotel was very wasy to locate right in downtown Dayton. Easily accessible parking garage. Our room and entire hotel was very clean, however, we reserved a king room and got a 2 queen instead. The family checking in before us got all kinds of information about great places to try for food and drinks and recieved a map. When it was our turn to check in we were told to scan the qr code to uoload a map and that was all she offeres out to us. I felt pretty slighted. Why did the peole before us rank? Anyhow, we enjoyed our stay and found several places within walking distance to enjoy our evening. Breakfast area was clean with your basic hot and cold options.

This property looks brand new and is very clean. However the parking is in a detached building on the other side of the block, and is shared with surrounding businesses. You have to take your stuff up before you park, it’s a walk back to the hotel. The hotel is several miles from the interstate. The area around the hotel is commercial and there is no place to eat - you’ll want to have food already before you take your stuff up and park your car. The hotel has frozen microwave pizzas and hot pockets you can buy but no variety and no price listed l, so I suspect they are super expensive. The hotel is locked down and you need a key card for everything. Overall I would not return to this property, it costs just as much or more than other properties in the area but it’s a hassle to get to, and to come and go while staying. I don’t really understand why it exists, it seems a really lousy location for a hotel.
