I have nothing to say but great things about this hotel and its lovely staff. From the moment we arrived everyone was very accommodating and the welcome drink was fantastic. They will do whatever it takes to make your trip a great experience and always have a smile on their faces and are happy to give recommendations. Will be coming back!

If you want a Cuban hotel, this is not it because everything works properly! From hot water to great food to rooftop entertainment to a generator in case of brown outs. The staff is excellent!

The property was not what I expected. It was a little dated. I have physical limitations, so an elevator is essential for me. When I checked in the hotel the elevator was not accessible for my entire stay. Although the front workers were accommodating. One of the workers named Alejandro made friends with an outside driver and tour guide that I hired that I soon after got rid of due fraud and abuse of service. He assumed and informed another guide that I hired that I was an angry woman so he should prepare himself. He also tried to charge me for simple information such giving recommendations to close by restaurants near the hotel. He stated that if he gave a recommendation, I would have to tip him and the establishment. Regarding the hotel amenities, the television rarely worked. The worst part of my stay was managing to walk up and down the stairs. It limited my ability to explore the country more to enjoy my trip for reasons that I physically was in pain and exhausted. I am requesting some kind of discount or rebate. I was able to talk with the hotel owner who mentioned that the elevator would not be accessible and needed to be replaced. He knew it was my birthday Sunday and promised to celebrate me due to the elevator situation, but never did.

The Claxon gave much more than I could have asked for. The hotel is exceptional, but what really makes it phenomenal is the staff. Much like it's facade and interior design, the staff seem to be the best curated collective of individuals talent could find. I had an excellent stay between Claudia & andres they made this stay so accommodating. Making sure we had taxis to get to where we needed helping us set up tours. The breakfast is a 10/10. Room was clean. Wi-Fi strong. Shower hot. They have 3 bars & live music

They helped us arrange transportation, airport transfers, meals, tours, etc and were always SO kind in responding to our many questions. Thank you Alex, Miguel and Claudia, you all are absolute angels. The restaurant on site is delicious and having breakfast in the room each day was such a nice touch. There is also a rooftop bar with live music for those wanting to extend the evening, we loved having that as an option! The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to several other restaurants. It's also a short walk to the Malecon and a 5 minute car ride to Old Havana. This was the perfect stay for us during our first visit to Cuba. When we return we won't be staying anywhere else! From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we were in awe. Not only are the staff attentive and lovely, the property is absolutely incredible. The largest room with balcony is spacious and has brand new amenities. The food was decent and the three bars/restaurants on premise are beautiful.

This is a great surprise when you arrive to this property. The street is beautiful. The theme of the property is Classic cars. Every details are incredible, done probably with great designers from a perfect renovation of the historic part to the very modern part of the rooms. Our room was very large, with high tech bathroom. Beautiful bars and court yard. Employees are extremely helpful and very kind. Far better than our expectations. Highly recommended.
