Loved the penthouse, classic charm and great service from reception. Right on 5th and easy walk to the beach. Spacious with all the amenities. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Cons terrible water pressure upstairs, the penthouse is third floor and the hotel has elevator and the noise level was incredible. A lot of reviews complained about loud music, I booked anyway because late night music is typical in Mexico. The hotel bar and the nightclub on the backside combined to make concert level noise with overlapping music until 3am every night. If you are a night owl it shouldn’t be a bother but if you need sleep that’s impossible. I would still stay again as accommodation and location were awesome.

I like the property because it’s comfortable and relaxing and nobody was bothering no one. Most importantly the breakfast was amazing! And if you are a rock and roll fan it is a prefect place for you and safe . We loved it!!

Could use a new bed.Remember there is a bar beside the hotel so it is very loud until 2-3 am ( great bar for live music our favorite on 5th ave. Fah.)

The penthouse is huge for the price! The property is not super new but given the price, it was a nice stay for me and my whole family. Close to the beach, shopping, and it is nice that they have free breakfast which helps save money. However, it is SO LOUD at night, especially on the weekend days. Clubs are all around so you hear the party for hours into the night. Somehow, we managed to sleep through it, even my one year old. I also enjoyed the pool, and at least some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall the hotel was nice once we moved from the 3rd floor to ground level. The late night music was expected as we read on other reviews. Pros: very convenient to restaurants, bars, shopping and beach. Bed was decent enough. Safe in the room was a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: pool is more of a lap pool and was cold due to the canopy of trees hovering over, not to mention all the fuzzies that drop in the pool. No lounge chairs by the pool. There was a TV in the room but only able to get 2 channels (both in Spanish). The stairs to the upper floors are hard to haul luggage up and down. Not a bad place for the price and a free breakfast every morning. If the pool situation would have been different I would most likely stay there again.

I want to emphasize that this hotel is located IN A BAR, in order to enter the premises and get to your room, you have to drag your luggage in between the tables through the bar and loud music. They said we have mentioned loud music but I didn’t see it anywhere on hotels.com so I want to make sure people have this info. The staff were friendly and trying to help but at night there was no-one to help with the luggage. There is no parking so if you have a rental, you have to consider parking farther and pay. The stay certainly is not peaceful especially for my mom and myself but I can imagine a group of college kids can have fun with the location being in the middle of a bar and close to all the action.

This is a nice inexpensive hotel. It includes a nice breakfast to start your day and the staff is friendly. In a touristy part of the city but if you like live music and bars this is a good place to be. I had a hammock in my room & when it rained all day I ordered food and hung out on my balcony with a beer. Centrally located to most venues.

This hotel is little but very nice the restaurant is always lit. I definitely recommend this place to everyone the location is perfect and the staff. Uuuufffffff super nice and very attentive always helping if you need anything. The breakfast had big portions and if you didn’t have time to eat there they would pack you a breakfast. I have no complains for this location it was the bomb.

40mb wifi, incredible breakfast included at an awesome rate. Music is loud till just past midnight, if you are there for a good time it's perfect.

Good location, but they don’t have parking and was a really problem with that!!
