So much bigger than the description shows! There is room for a large group. The bathrooms are fantastic. Beds are comfortable. Location to Grandote Golf is unbeatable. Quiet area. We will be back for sure!

The original reservation for our stay in June ‘24 was made in August ‘23. Two weeks before our stay the property was sold to new owners. Old and new owners worked with me to make certain we could cancel and re-book without someone else booking the property in the middle of our process to secure our stay. I believe we were then the first customers for the new owners. That said, there were some concerns we chose to work around knowing that they probably hadn’t had the time to see to all the details of the property. The listing said there was a jacuzzi, but there was not. The mattresses on the beds in the basement space were quite thin and uncomfortable. There was a layer of visible dust on the flue of the wood stove as well as the bottom shelves of the coffee table and the cabinet under the television. The kitchen needed a deep clean, and the stove and oven an even deeper clean. An additional suggestion from our group would be to change the porch lights to motion activated. We neglected to leave the light on when we left for a day up in Cuchara. When we returned after dark, we could not see the keypad for the lock in order to enter the duplex. With hands full of possessions, it was nearly a comedy act as we searched and fumbled around trying to find phones to utilize a flashlight to use the keypad. The duplex is in a good location, easy to get to and convenient to day excursions around the area. It is roomy and very comfortable for our group of 8.
