Stayed for one night with my friend and 3 children before going to horizons port! Room was clean, safe and had everything you needed!

Only 5 car parking spaces, had to park elsewhere, no plug in sink difficult to shave

This property hasn't much in kerb-appeal and, to be honest, that doesn’t greatly improve once you are inside. What it does offer, however, is amazing value for money. OK, there's no breakfast but, even allowing for that, a large room with 2 double beds and a private bathroom was half the price of pretty much anywhere else. The room was generally very clean and reasonably comfortable. One bed needed a new mattress (we told the owners) and it would have been nice to have had some pictures on the walls, and even lampshades, but it was the basic room after-all! :) Parking is available but you are unlikely to get one of the 4 or 5 spaces if you go out for the day. That's not too much of a problem, though, as there is plenty of free-parking on the nearby side roads. There are plenty of pubs nearby and a brilliant, if expensive, pizza restaurant down the road called 'What a Pizza!' I stayed with my 13yr old son and he felt safe and loved his own double bed

Check in was fine there was tea and coffee all good but when it came to bed time that’s where it went down hill. Bed time come and I got in bed and after a few mins I felt something crawling on me turned the light on to fined some bugs on me and in the bed there were about 10-15 of them altogether I phoned the contact number and was put through to some body that asked me to send him some pictures so I sent him a video of them and all he could say was I’ll come to the room in the morning he came and said there was a pest control person coming at 10:30 he said that he would issue a refund but haven’t yet received it. I never slept all night. And had my daughter the following day so was so tired and only see her on every other weekend so was not happy. And I had to drive bk the same day I did ask if they had another room for the 26th to the 27th instead of a refund that way I could see my daughter then I could of gone bk and got some sleep but was told we have nothing available

Room was a good size with own sink, no tv in the room so being entertained in the evening was difficult, screw sticking out side of bed. Okay for the average travelling buisnessman

It was ok for an overnight stay i got the lock system on the door sorted . And it was a comfy adequate room

Shower and cubicle needs maintaining. Bed a little small and bouncy (fun!) Great overall for price.

Not even a fan in the room, stifling hot still air. Lady walked into the room well after check in and had to use key to get in. Stagnant water in kettle. People who worked there were sat in the kitchen DIRECTLY below the room I was in and loudly spoke about how awful their job is woe is me and the owners are terrible until MIDNIGHT. Occasionally walking out back,(a door that led directly outside my window) to smoke and speak loudly. I couldn't close the window because it was insanely hot, so loud voices and smoke drifted up. Then they were back at it at 7:30 am sharp yelling and hollering. Terrible terrible place.

For the price you can't complain. Room clean, plenty of tea & coffee, comfy bed. Curtains didn't close completely, shower a bit weak but all in all, a bargain

Read the mixed reviews but certainly couldn’t fault the room we had. Very helpful at check in when I made a mistake with the code. 15 minute easy walk to the station but uphill from the station.

Staff very helpful each and everyone of them

Stayed for 1 night in the quadruple room. We had a lovely stay, the room was a generous size and generally clean. The location is great, just a short walk to the main street with lots of options to eat and drink. Room came with tea/coffee making facilities and a toaster as well as a large fridge. The only thing missing was a tv. Parking is very limited, we managed to find a spot around the corner. The staff and service was excellent, could not fault them. Answered any questions I had quickly and when I had a bit of trouble with the keypad to get back into the room, I had immediate help and assistance. Overall for the price paid, it was excellent, would happily stay again. Thank you.

Good value for money - basic but comfortable.

The room was clean. There is a TV but it not working. There is no wi-fi. There was no bin in the room. The pots with the palm plants outside the door serve as ashtrays.

Stayed one night. Its a run down property but the on site staff responded quickly when I couldn't work out the keypad system to my room - 5 stars for the staff. For the price I was pleasantly surprised to find my room had its own shower and toilet, coffee making facilities, a tv and comfy bed. All very basic and dated, but I wasn't expecting the Ritz! It was in fact much better than I expected for the price.

This was a place to stay on a budget and met with expectations.
