Great new hotel in nice safe location ! Had a long day because of a car issue so when checked in I had warm freindly greeting from Makayla ! She gave me a list of resturants close by and places I could walk to very helpful ! Then Ryan helped me out with my departure which got delayed bacause of my car ! Great spot great staff !

Very small rooms for the price. Pillows where too soft and uncomfortable. Ended up having a neck pain. No bar soap . Helps people who have handicapped conditions. No laundry bag provided Bagels were stale and very limited . Orange juice dispensed just water

I love Tru by Hilton hotels! They’re so cute and comfortable, and the staff is always amazing and friendly and helpful. It’s also a dog-friendly hotel and my dog is always so comfortable there too! Plus, they provide a list of things like close pet stores, nearby emergency vets, and pet-friendly restaurants when you check in. Super nice!

Very nice and clean place. The breakfast was a normal cold bar breakfast. But they did offer coffee, tea, hot cocoa around the clock for free which was really nice. The showers had good pressure and the water got hot very quickly.

Food was the worst ever in a Hilton property
Room floor had dog hair and just dirty overall.
Dining was dirty lots of dirty table tops and this is at 8:15 on a Sunday morning, bagels were rock hard and looked old. Eggs were barely warm and the sausage was a light gray color, scary looking!
The hotel soundproofing for a new hotel was just about non existent, we listened to guests in all the rooms around us.
I could go on but why, we will never stay at a TRU by Hilton again!

Check-in was easy and quick, room was clean and bright. Bed was so comfy and shower was amazing.
Breakfast food was great, the serving space was cramped and the girl working/restocking was nice but very slow which caused many to have to stand around and wait or miss out. The front desk working (in the mornings) was very slow to refill the coffee; it seemed they both were new(er) and didnt have a good routine to keep stuff filled.

Breakfast is not kept stocked. Saturday breakfast ends at 10, at 9:30 there was essentially nothing left. It should be kept stocked to accommodate all guests during the hours available. The coffee was tinted water. Overall though the property is lovely, clean, and quiet.

James at the front desk provided excellent customer service. He even text me after I got to my room to make sure everything was ok and to my satisfaction. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Restaurants and grocery stores drivable but nearby. I will definitely be back when I'm in the Wilmington area.

Service and hospitality were excellent. Rooms were clean. My only issue is that the hotel has air freshener throughout. It's a subtle smell but irritated my sinuses and lungs. This is not the first hotel that has started doing this and I am unhappy that it has become a trend in hotel establishments.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff here. We ended up staying for almost a week and each and every member of the staff were beyond friendly as well as happy. I highly recommend skipping the beach hotels and stay here and drive to the beach.

The stay was fine, I was disappointed in housekeeping though. We stayed for three nights and housekeeping did not come clean any day. We had to call the front desk just to get fresh towels and wash cloths. Other than that the day was fine.

We found ourselves at Tru due to unfortunate circumstances. We had a death in the family. We had no time to arrange for our pet sitter to take care of our beautiful Springer Spaniel boy. Tru welcomed us with smiling faces and cheerfulness. The hotel is immaculate! The vibe is fun and energetic. The room was big, with very comfortable beds, sheets, pillows and big towels. We will return!

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility is brand new. We found the bed comfortable, the room got cool quickly, and the hot water in the shower got hot fast!
