Stayed 3 nights as Kasees with my daughter and her friend for some summer mountain hiking the Main Range. The apartment (number 7) was absolutely spotlessly clean and the views are stunning. Staff friendly and helpful. The location, private garden path to Thredbo main square is just so convenient. It's also very quite and private. We will stay again for sure.

Our apartment at Kasees was a great place to return to at the end of each full day of hiking. It was quiet, yet not far from the shopping area in Thredbo, had a perfect little kitchen and living room plus balcony with stunning views of the valley and the mountain. Highly recommend.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, but old. They lacked power points for charging and you needed to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. A good supply of cooking utensils. Views from the balcony were spectacular. Off street parking was a bonus; a short walk to every thing in the village.

Our stay was amazing. Thredbo is built by the community that surrounds the area, that lives and breathes the history that is still present in the village today. The Lodge is in top nick despite its age, and you are greeted by the original builders and owners of the a Lodge, who are the true living legends of Thredbo. They are most kind, generous and hospitable to all their guests that stay at their humble abode; which was all hand built by European Immigrants in the early 60s. Upon settling in, the view from the balcony is magnificent. I couldn’t more highly recommend staying at Kasees, and look forward to returning in the Winter.

A pretty unique property run by the same family since being established I believe in the 1960's. Dated in some ways but very clean and more than adequate for a short stay in Thredbo. The central heating worked brilliantly and at times the rooms were almost too warm. Although I've never been into skiing it had the authentic look, feel and charm of a Swiss chalet. We had the added bonus of snow as an early winter blast struck during our visit in April. I would certainly stay there again if ever in Thredbo and so should you.

Older, more traditional lodge. Well equipped, comfortable, with plenty of room. Can be a bit noisy as rooms come off the common/lounge room - but it's all happy noise!! Great views & well positioned near the centre. Kitchen has everything you could want. Staff all very happy & helpful. We were there in summer/autumn so not so busy as winter I expect.

The highlights are; friendly and helpful hosts, great mountain views, parking on site (good reversing skill is a must, our car was blocked over two days but we didn't use it), short but steep walk to all local amenities. Some renovations wouldn't hurt like carpets and balcony handrails. Overall, great value for money, will come again.

Kasees was perfect during my stay in Thredbo. The staff was very accommodating and the room was very spacious with a wonderful view of the mountain. The common area was also nice and cozy, but I didn't get to stay there much. The only problem with Kasees is that it's far from the shops, but there's a shuttle that you can take with the bus stop just outside Kasees. At night though, you might have to walk. My only complaint about the room was that the pillows were kinda flat. Overall, still a wonderful hotel and would definitely come back!
