This hotel was clean, but was bare bones. There was no phone to call front desk for assistance. There was no hair dryer. It had sliding glass doors for the main door. These doors were very hard to open and close. You could hear ever noise all night long from neighbors coming and going.

Property was amazing and very walkable to the beach and all other attractions. Will definitely stay again!

It was just what we needed! It was walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, and casino ballroom venue.

A perfect base of operations for a visit to family: a one block walk to Hampton Beach State Park for early morning walks on the beach and a short drive to visit family. The room was very quiet.

For the price, I was expecting much less, but we stayed here for a concert, and the rooms were very clean and cute. Would stay here again, only recommendation is new beds. Our bodies the next day, felt like we slept on cardboard.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable and convenient to amenities/attractions in the area. I liked the designated parking spot by room number as well. No ice machine but that was not a deal breaker. A modest and unpretentious place.

I appreciate your kindness and the upgrade.This is a fantastic place although I was unable to use the overhead fan instead of the air conditioner because of the inch thick dust. I would recommend cleaning them due to the cost of running the air conditioner. I also would recommend a quiet time curfew. I was awakened at 1:30 a.m. by stomping, yelling and very loud conversations. Overall you run a very nice place and again thank you for everything!!

The location is perfect, centrally located. The grounds and pool area is clean and well kept. The wood floors were most welcome {compared to dirty rugs}. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and my only complaint was the moldy shower curtain. Overall The Mainsail met our expectations.

I feel the staff needs to let people know upon check in how to work/where the AC is. We walked into the room and turned (what we thought) was the AC on the wall unit and left for the day. We didn’t know that the actual AC unit was up near the ceiling where you had to climb on the countertops to reach to turn it on and that we had turned on the heater instead. Also when housekeeping comes to clean they leave the curtains opens on the “entry” door (which is actually a sliding glass patio door) so the whole world can see all of your belongings. Easy for a thief to look and decide what they want. Besides those 2 things the room was adequate and served our purpose of having a comfortable place to stay while visiting family in Exeter. Couldn’t let the front office know of our concerns as we left every morning around 8-8:30am and came back after 9pm, so they were never open.

My entire stay was fabulous---heated pool so awesome---Joe the manager is exceptionally kind and makes you feel special---the microwave and fridge make eating easy---short walk to the beach---everything extremely clean---

This place is absolutely amazing. The location is incredible ! Parking is easy peasy ! It's so quiet, we heard nothing from outside or other rooms. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are super well organized. There is so much room. The premise is clean. The room could use a deep clean. The dusting wasn't on point but everything else was perfect ! We SO appreciate the seperate sink and counter beside the mini fridge and microwave. It made so convinient to have breakfast, snacks and small meals. Honesty, for the area, for the price this place is amazing. The only negative is on the WiFi. It was basically inexistent... but we were there for the beach so wtv !

Overall it was a great stay, and great location. Being so close to food, entertainment,and the beach at decent price was why i chose to stay here. I had some issue with the coffee pot leaking. As someone with allergies, I wish there were tissues and the AC was a little more efficient, but it wasnt a major issue. The room was nice, updated, and clean. The pool was also a nice option to have. It was my first time staying here and I'd certainly return.

Had a really good time and it’s really close to all the activities on Hampton beach. The manager at mainsail was very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to stay for that price, 99/night! We (me and 2 teenagers) stayed 1 night in room 15, on the 2nd floor. Staff was kind and polite and gave us more shampoo when we asked. Very clean, good beds/pillows, good shower and kitchen with clean fridge. The shower water drained slow but it didn't bother us. No carpet we liked too. New curtains and furniture. Chairs to sit outside. Quiet at night for us as the room is located in the middle. Nice outside pool! Short walk to the beach and boulevard is very convenient! The GM Mr. Burke is the best! He helped me out with my booking after office hours and solved the problem so we could enjoy our stay the next day, thank you again and thank you so much! We will be back next year!

Everything was great except for the mattresses. They are extremely old, compressed and very hard to sleep on.

Well, considering the fact that this hotel doesn’t let you check in after 7 PM which is insanely early and I showed up about 35 to 40 minutes after that. I cannot believe I was charged still. Also manager tried to say I didn’t call.. I did no one answered. If you want to run successful business maybe just refund money when it’s appropriate
