I stayed for one night for an event at the adjacent stadium. The location is excellent for that purpose, and you aren't far away from good transport links if you want to get in to the centre of town. There is a parking garage directly underneath, which isn't too expensive and is excellent value on an event day. The rooms are clean and have all that you need. It isn't a hotel, but an aparthotel, so some of the 'luxury' touches some people seem to expect aren't there but it absolutely fine for short stays. Think UK Travelodge standard, but bigger rooms and with a kitchenette. The only issues I had was when I messaged them to find out which of the parking garages I should use, I didn't get a reply (it's A3 in case you need to know), and the absence of a soap dispenser in the toilet (although there is one in the shower). I'd stay here again. Clean, functional and well located.

We stayed here as an overnight stop on the way home. Parking is expensive at 11 euros. The drains in the bathrooms smelled awful, heavily masked in the bedroom by plug in air fresheners. No air conditioning but large opening windows and a fan was provided. We were welcomed by a very nice man on reception. Breakfast was ok. My family seemed to enjoy it. Half of this hotel is student halls and the facilities are shared. Eg lifts, entrance, staff etc. certainly wouldn’t stay again.

The front desk were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very clean and had all basic essentials in the bathroom.

It was like a student apartment with all the amenities - with kitchen equipment including a fridge & kettle. The bedding was excellent (no giant marsh mellow pillows here) and decent shower / soap & shampoo. We found the coffee table / comfy chair area very useful. Underground self parking (at a cost) very practical especially in the winter & early starts.

We are both over 55 and well travelled. We were very disappointed with our stay at the Tulip Inn. The receptionist treated us like criminals or hooligans. She insisted on taking a photocopy of my passport. When I asked about the possibility of identity theft and the data protection act, she then relinquished and wrote down my passport number instead of taking a photocopy. A 300€ deposit is required in case we thrashed the room. She said that it would be released when we checked out. When we checked out the next day, she said that they would check the room in the next 24 hours and if they were satisfied, they would then release the deposit. I asked if we could check the room together and she refused. I would lose the 300€ deposit if a Tulip Inn staff member breaks or steals something from the room after we checked out. The room was spacious, and it reminded me of student accommodation. There was a strong unpleasant odour from the drains and toilet. The receptionist did not speak English. Luckily, both my husband and I are fluent in French, so there was no misunderstanding. The only positive is the location of the hotel. Close to Ville2 Shopping and the Metro. Parking was 10€ per day. However there are other hotels in the area with good customer service. We will definitely not return to Tulip Inn. Much rather support hotels that give great customer service.

Very clean room, however direction should have stated near to Park inn hotel, as signage was small and we found it a little difficult to find the hotel.

We did not eat in the hotel and only used the kettle in what was a fully equipped kitchenette. The room was spacious with a sitting area and separate bathroom & toilet. The bed was the best we have slept on throughout our many travels AND the pillows were excellent. We used the car park under the hotels and restaurants complex. Our room overlooked a building site & motorway (popular area) the double glazing preventing any noise. Had window open throughout night without noise problem. Football stadium outside front door - massive shopping complex across the road including a shopping centre.

There's also the option to cook in the room (there's a small hob, sink, fridge...). Breakfast quite steeply priced at €12 but weighed against an inexpensive room, a just-about-worthwhile expense for an easy start to the following day.

A good place to stay, extremely convenient for the motorway en route from the Channel ports to central Europe. Some restaurants nearby as part of the stadium complex, ample parking. There's also the option to cook in the room (there's a small hob, sink, fridge...). Breakfast quite steeply priced at €12 but weighed against an inexpensive room, a just-about-worthwhile expense for an easy start to the following day.
