The apartment was very homely and comfortable and Loretta extremely helpful as a host. Very enjoyable stay and convenient, being close to Fuimicino airport and the beachfront for Rome.

Loretta was amazingly helpful and met us from the airport bus to Ostia. We loved the flat, it was in a quiet neighbourhood with a supermarket across the road, the beach nearby and the train station to Rome and Ostia a 15 minute walk away. The flat was well equiped and it was just what we needed.

Bright and welcoming apartment with all the amenities of home. Great location within a short walk of the beach, grocery stores, and top notch restaurants. Loretta, our host, was a pleasure to deal with. She's warm, friendly, and caring. Our only regret is our stay was too short. Definitely plan on returning soon!!

This apartment would be perfect for 2 adults plus 2 children. A third adult might fit on the couch. The location is very good, with a major grocery store across the street, and a short walk to the beach. A couple of coffee shops and a new best-value Italian restaurant are also one block away. The apartment is quiet and well furnished; many house plants are on display. The best part of this listing is the host, who owns the property and is a delight to deal with.

This place is clean and comfortable and very convenient to the FCO airport. A grocery store right across the street. A good place to rest up after a long flight. Very friendly people.

We had a very short, one night stay at Loretta‘s apartment after flying in from Canada. Loretta was extremely patient and kind dealing with us, and our delayed arrival. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Parking on the street was easy. It is very close to a supermarket. We walked to a nearby bustling Trattoria for a late dinner. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you Loretta!

The apartment was in a great location. It was everything that we expected. Very close to the beach and an easy drive to the airport. Having a full kitchen was wonderful. There was a grocery store right across the street from the apartment. Loretta also had a basket of fruit for us a couple bottles of water as well as some pastries. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Loretta was a great host explaining how to use everything and how to get about locally and I to Romes centre.If not driving a weekly all in bus train and metro ticket is well worth the 24 euros. Loretta è molto cordiale e disponibile, la casa è molto più carina dal vivo che in foto.Ci siamo trovati benissimo, appartamento pulito, silenzioso e molto arieggiato, è disponibile anche l'aria condizionata per chi soffre di più il caldo. Casa molto bella e host molto professionale e cordiale!

Loretta was the best host,was always available with any questions.Rome is only a 40min train ride(8 euro week pass). She was the best and her place was too.

She was very helpful on the day we left Italy, she took us to the bus station and helped us get our bus tickets. We are thankful with Loretta and the help she provided. I recommend her clean and spacious house.

Loretta was fantastic. She organized a taxi to the apartment and to the airport for us which was greatly appreciated (in Italy you call for taxis, you don't wave them down). The apartment was organized and very clean. There's no air conditioning but the ceiling fan and cool breeze was perfect. There's 2 balconies and several windows that keeps it cool. There's an elevator that takes you to the apartment which is on the 4th floor which is nice when you have luggage. The apartment is about a 10 min walk from the water. The beach is sandy and nice. There's some restaurants and shops. The area is not very touristy which depending on what you're looking for can be nice. The area is not super nice but not unsafe or scary either. I would recommend staying here if you're looking to stay in Ostia. Loretta was also great and drove us to a restaurant for lunch. She's very helpful if you have any questions. She had some toiletries in the bathroom, a fruit bowl, and sunblock if you need it.

Loretta was an excellent help, who spoke better english than me! The place had a nice view of the street, very warm area, down the street from the beach. Head to the La Bahia Beach area down the street from the immediate access, it is the nicest part of the beach and it's free access. 15 minute walk to the train station, to get into the coliseum it takes about 40 minutes, very inexpensive train tickets. Lovely apartment, just big enough for three or four comfortably with a nice balcony. Apartment complete with full kitchen, and dishwasher and clothes washer. Thanks Loretta!

The owner Loretta is an absolute darling. She collected us from the airport and returned us . She explains about the area and even booked us a table at a restaurant that she recommended. True to her words it was delightful. Nothing is too much trouble . She is full of enthusiasm which is reflected in the apartment . 5 minutes walk from the beach, near the shops, yet quiet and peaceful. We felt like one of the locals and the apartment felt safe and like home. We will re visit for sure. Andrew and Kathryn Puddu

This tidy and cozy apartment was a comfortable place for our family of four during New Year’s, 2016/17. But most impressive was the owner, Loretta, who was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to print off our airline tickets and drive them back to us . She also volunteered to drive us to the bus station early in the morning. She definitely went over and beyond the call of duty, and I would stay at her place again because of her friendliness.

Greeted pleasantly by Loretta upon arrival. Being on the 4th floor we were pleasantly surprised it had an elevator. The apartment was clean and comfortable and even supplied with fresh fruit, bottled water and sweet's. Loretta went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location seems to have everything close to hand from shops to restaurants.

The property was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. It was ideally located being close to beach, shops and transport. We were able to balance our family holiday with sightseeing in Rome to relaxing on the beach. It was easy to get to Rome using the buses and metro and took about 25 minutes. The local trattoria was family - run and served good traditional food in a welcoming atmosphere. I thought the property was good value for money and although it was hot at night the owner had provided fans in every room. We often took a stroll along the promenade at night - it was nice to see so many families out and about enjoying the cool evening breeze. The owner, Loretta was charming, helpful and accommodating. She immediately made us feel welcome and gave us plenty of advice as to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would recommend this property to friends and we wish Loretta well and every success!

Our stay in Ostia was brilliant. Loretta gave us a very warm welcome to the apartment on our first evening, even baking us a cake! The apartment was very clean and we'll appointed, and although the kitchen is very small, we managed perfectly well. It is within 5 minutes walk to a lovely pizzeria and a trattoria. There is a supermarket over the road and other local shops within a 10 minute walk, including a pharmacy. The seafront is about 10 minutes walk away. The transport links into Rome is brilliant, and integrated so all buses, metros , trams and the train into Ostia available on the same ticket. you can get tickets for 100 minutes, 1 day, 3 days and 7 days. It is a level walk to the local train station and it takes you about 20 minutes to get onto the outskirts of Rome, with a transfer onto the metro, and then 4 stops to the main termini station. We visited the Vatican City, Sistine chapel , Pantheon, colosseum, roman forum, to name but a few. The omnia card that we purchased before our trip, enabled us to also get a hop on and hop off bus in Rome, that was very good with a commentary. The omnia card also included visits to St. Peter's basilica, Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel and the castle st angels with the wonderful view from the top terrace. It also included two more visits of your choice, we did the colosseum and the Rome forum , and 3 days of travel on the integrated travel system. Back to the apartment, we were glad that we decided to stay in Ostia to get away from the hustle and bustle of Rome! Loretta was in contact with us throughout the week to make sure that we were okay, and we felt that nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay in the apartment again if we were to visit Rome again. Thank you very much Loretta for your wonderful hospitality .

Greeted by Loretta even though our flight was delayed making it quite late. The appartment was clean and comfortable and supplied with fresh fruit and bottled water. We felt that Loretta went out of her way to ensure our comfort, a mobile for our use and plenty of fresh towels. Location has everything close to hand, beach and resturants just a short walk away. we will definitely return and would recommend to friends.

We can't stress enough how wonderful the owner, Loretta is! We stayed at this Ostia Lido apartment for our family vacation to Rome. The apartment was perfect for our family with 2 young children (secured facility and the elevator to top floor made it easy). The apartment was so inviting and felt like home (from the fresh flowers Loretta left to the readily available spices and oils-most apartments don't provide this and it can get expensive or you just cook plain food). The walk to the train station took about 15-20 minutes with our little ones walking but it was so much better than taking a cab or driving into Rome. You're also not far from the water but it's not really a tourist area and not so "beachy" so we spent little time there. Loretta is one of the most caring and friendly people we've ever met. She helped us set up a cab ride to the airport as well as assisting us in recovering a lost item. She went above and beyond for us. We will stay with her again if we find ourselves in Rome.
