Located in the village of Southend Common, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire this spectacular home is perfect for large groups looking to come together in a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife. Experience the charm of Henley (5 miles) from the water with a relaxing cruise along the River Thames or walk along the tow path to Marlow.  Step back in time at the National Trust Property, Nuffield Place (8 miles), the home of William Morris, founder of the Morris Motor Company.  For outdoor enthusiasts, the Chiltern Hills National Landscape provides excellent walking and cycling routes where you can enjoy rolling landscapes, ancient woodlands and scenic viewpoints.  The village of Turville with its iconic windmill from the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is within walking distance from the house and has a local gastro pub. Walk through the woods to the adjoining Stonor Estate with its tea rooms, gardens and outdoor adventure playground  Tumble Stone Hollow.
This stylish property has been thoughtfully designed and decorated to harmonise with its idyllic surroundings. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to craft memorable dinners. On rainy days, unwind in the enchanting orangery or one of the four living areas. The main living area is a cosy lounge with plush armchairs and sofas perfectly arranged in front of a roaring wood burner. Boasting seven spacious bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread across two buildings (the main house and the annexe), the property offers privacy and comfort. The bedrooms are finished in a soothing style, with plenty of light, space and warmly textured fabrics, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. Entertainment for the whole family is guaranteed in the games room with a pool table, table tennis and a football table. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the impressive gym, fully equipped with a variety of weights and exercise equipment. Additionally, there’s a convenient cloakroom and the separate utility area is perfect for storing muddy boots and accommodating pets.
Outside, you can relax on the sunbeds or on the terrace chairs and table by both the pool or the conservatory. Take a refreshing dip in the 17-metre heated pool, and enjoy a BBQ as the sun sets. Extend the day with firepit marshmallows. The dog friendly fenced garden offers croquet, cricket, a trampoline, spike ball, crazy catch, a swing, slide and tree house.
Need to Know: Heated outdoor pool April to end of September until 2100hrs (pool towels not provided). Outside these times the pool is out of use. The pool is not fenced and guests use at their own risk.  Gardeners will attend the property every Tuesday and the pool maintenance every Thursday. No charging of electric cars at the property. The property has a ring camera facing onto the driveway and parking area.  Coals are not supplied for the BBQ & fire pit. Please note - group bookings may be checked to ensure the purpose of the stay is for a holiday, and where relevant, a additional security deposit may be requested.   No parties, event or day visitors are allowed at the property.

4 bathrooms (all with complimentary toiletries) - The super king bedroom has en suite with shower room and separate bathroom with free standing bath; king size has access to its own bathroom with shower and small bath on landing; the single and double bedroom share a bathroom which is en suite to both rooms (Jack and Gill); 1 downstairs shower room with WC
2 ovens; 1 gas and 1 electric and a 5 burner gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker. 2 fridges, a large fridge/freezer in utility and small fridge in kitchen
