Our spacious, newly built home is in a quiet and quaint neighborhood in the sweet little town of Poncha Springs, just 5 miles from vibrant Salida. We only live in the home for part of the year, so we want to share our little slice of paradise with others when we’re not in it. We hope you will enjoy our thoughtfully and comfortably furnished home, sunny patio, and private hot tub!
We’re a few blocks from LaGree’s grocery store, coffee shops, Elevation Brewery, Poncha Pub. 20 mi from Ski Monarch
Our neighborhood is a friendly community with a great vibe, but folks here also respect each other's privacy. Please no parties or loud music outdoors, as we want to keep our neighbors happy!
We are located around the corner from Elevation Brewery, and there's a bike path you can take into Salida if you're up for adventures in "the big city."
Our home has 3 bedrooms upstairs, plus a loft that we have set up as a bedroom with a twin daybed in it. The master suite has a king bed and a private bathroom with shower (no tub). There are two additional bathrooms upstairs, each with a tub, plus a 1/2 bath on the main floor. The main floor has a very large living room with a daybed in it that opens to a king bed.
There is a desk with printer available for guest use in the living room.
Backyard landscaping coming in spring of 2025.
The garage will remain locked, but there is ample parking available on the street in front of the home, as well as in the alley beside the garage. Our kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your gourmet cooking and dining!
Our wifi is high speed so guests can set up shop to work or homeschool from your Salida "home away from home.”
Monarch Ski Area is just 20 miles away. Hiking and mountain biking trails can be found amply in every direction from the house, and we'll have info on those trails in our guestbook for you, along with info about lots of other things to do in the area.
Please, no pets or smoking of any kind in this home.
Since this is a monthly rental, we require mid-stay cleans, at least once per month, or more often if you prefer. We will have the hot tub professionally treated between each guest. If you stay longer than one month, we require professional treatments at least once per month.
