Room very old and smells of cigarette smoke. Mattress needs renewing. Needs updating!

Handy to ferry terminal

We had clean sheets and room was as clean as it could be. Rooms need a good renovation

Was ok for somewhere to stay while working, pretty basic.

Average for the price , is what it is old bit rundown but most importantly the bed was very very comfortable and crisp clean sheets and towels although we didn’t use the shower . Just a basic room good for price nothing bad .

Do not stay at this hotel. Many issues needing fixing. No key to the room and would not change to another room, bathroom had broken floor tiles in shower, tap was hard to use and faulty, shower rail was loose, poor lighting, smoke detector had no batteries and was hanging open, fridge leaking and knob broken, scrim curtain was shredded and blind slashed. It looks like it has been this way for a long time.

We didn't get the room. We had to go somewhere else,which was good and clean.

The room was basic, but that is to be expected for the price. Very old & in need of an update. Bed was terrible.

Convenient location but the property is very dated and needs a lot of maintenance. you get what you pay for.

Clean place

Place was very run down and outdated not cleaned properly won’t stay again

it was easy to find. was thankful that the office closed at 9pm due to late arrival of spirit of tasmania the entry vynil had tears and was in need of replacement, there were dirty marks on the carpet and the bed covering also had dirty marks. The enrty door had to be pushed really hard to latch closed, along with the bathroom door. the room smelt very musty like spilt water not cleaned up. The kettle for coffee could not be filled at the tap, as the kettle was too bibg to get in the bathroom sink. the grassed area out side the window was disgusting. I like to let natural light into a room. but the unmown rubbish filled are was unsatisfactory. The furnishings required attention, as there was paint chipped and the back of the door was just dirty. May i suggest that each room be inspected by maintenance and each week and upgrade items as required.

Easy access. Easy check in. Clean property. It is a dates venue in a low socio economic area. The place is priced correctly

Too noisy, the traffic is bad.

Clean and basic, building requires maintenance and repairs urgently.

This property is very old and very shabby. Peeling paint, marks and dings in the walls greet you upon opening the door to your room. While it is clean, you can't overlook this. The atmosphere of the property feels unsafe.

No Laundry on the site someone was spitting out the front of our room

The hotel was convenient after a sailing on the Spirit of Tas but needs a major upgrade! Furniture and fittings poor and outdated! Cheap and nasty !

Lovely staff. Was able to wash and dry laundry overnight using machines at reasonable price. Just didn’t appreciate being woken up by inconsiderate cabin users making breakfast and playing music at 5am. Glad another camper sorted this so was able to go back to sleep. Very convenient and quiet area otherwise not far from Spirit of Tasmania drop off. Thanks ***

Excellent older style motel, spotlessly clean. Comfortable king sized bed. Tea/coffee provided, microwave, fridge, toaster & breakfast crockery/cutlery. Rooms 23-25 are the quietest as they are off the main road. Curry on Corio serves excellent Indian food and is located in the football of nearby Corio Village shopping centre. Motel is 6 minutes away from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal.

No flyscreens on door or windows. Unable to open windows and therefore no fresh air. Dust was an inch thick on window sills and skirting boards Some furniture was 50 years old and not antique. Very noisey. Primitive. All linen was clean

Good bed and a reasonable level of noise

Photo not the same as website, no hot water, shower head broken, toilet seat not attached, light hanging from ceiling, smoke alarm not in working order, website said light breakfast nothing on offer. We had booked for 4 nights left after 2 nights never going back.

Good for a basic overnight stay on a budget!

The was nothing unique about this property. The location is great but the venue is disgusting. The room was filthy, the vinyl floor covering was worn through and very dirty, the carpet was disgustingly filthy covered in grease and dirt, the table and chairs were dirty and sticky the toilet seat was not attached to the Pan. the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, people outside at 4.00am smoking at my room door and filling the room with smoke. Not a memorable visit after a long drive.

If you want budget accommodation, this is fine, i was okay with it. My room was in dire need for a major reno, but the sheets were clean, so was the bathroom. Best feature is proximity to Spirit of Tasmania ferry. Would happily stay there again to be in easy reach of relevant facilities.
