Right in the centre of the old town. Almost feels like you are living like a local.

Atonella wasn't exactly clear with her instructions regarding the fact that cars are now allowed in this perimeter of town and road signs are not super clear either. I thought she meant there would be barriers stopping the car to go to the actual property but that could still drive nearby to drop luggage and passengers. Antonella wrote that the accommodation is "not accessible by car" but she doesn't mention anything about being forbidden to drive in the area or automated traffic enforcement cameras fining vehicles (€169 apparently). Also you cannot register your car plate retroactively! Really frustrating I must admit, I wished her message was clearer.

Location was excellent, Matera is only small, you can get anywhere in a short time but you do need good mobility. I booked this for my son as we were already staying in Matera and he joined us at the last minute. Upstairs bedroom was modern clean and comfortable, very cosy with the lamps on. Lots of snacks left for him by the owner and she was very friendly on arrival and prompt at the agreed time. Lovely bathroom, lots of towels and toiletries. Restaurants just outside and you are on the right side of Matera if you want to climb the ravine, which he and my husband did. Sweet little balcony at the property too

There was nothing everything was great

The apartment was absolutely perfect! I honestly wouldn’t change a thing, we were sad we couldn’t stay longer. The furnishings are new and comfortable, the space generally is very modern but still with the unique feeling of Matera. the bed was so comfortable as well! Its also well located - literally a 2min walk to some amazing restaurants and viewpoints

very good room! -perfectly situated. take care that both A/Cs are working to have it cool sufficiently. btw: the Trattoria do Caveoso some meters uphill on the right side is very good!

Great location in historic centre, beautiful room, very kind host, highly recommend this place and will stay here again if I visit beautiful matera again!!

The beige-white uncluttered, sparkling clean two-story room is super comfortable. The location is perfect to explore the city. As always a kettle and some tea/coffee is very welcome.
