We had a wonderful stay in your cute cottage. It was quiet and peaceful with great views of the cray fleet and fishing dingys from the sunroom. The sunroom and back yard a favourite for us and our dogs. A well equipped cottage with comfortable beds. Great views and good dog friendly beach and parkland. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The cottage was brilliant! We had a wonderful weekend for the Port MacDonnell Sailing Regatta! Perfect location, walking distance from the shops and the sailing club. Beautiful view and easy amenities for a great weekend stay! It was super convenient as we were able to bring our furry family member with us. We will definitely be back!

Excellent with the dogs they had the whole garage to sleep in. The living areas were clean and the heater was on when we arrived. But then when I opened up the kitchen cupboards they were dirty inside, hadn’t been wiped out in a while. The bedside draws in the bedroom stunk and there was a resident spider in mine. (So they weren’t used) and we weren’t even given a clean kitchen sponge someone else’s dirty one. Port MacDonnell is a lovely place to visit the maritime museum is pretty good, and lots of things to see an do. But just a little more care needs to be taken of the property.

Cathy and Adam have a comfortable house ideally located overlooking the harbour and ocean yet within walking distance to most amenities. The local people we met were very friendly and the neighbourhood was quiet (pre-Easter holidays). Had time permitted, we would have loved to have stayed longer.

Great property and the fact your dog can go with you is great, the swinging decision in staying there was the dog facilities. Location is excellent . Diana

When we contacted the owners about how dirty it was and sent through photo's we were brushed off as to bad! When we rented the property it was listed as 2 bedroom, when we got there the second bedroom was locked, therefore my family member who was sharing the house with me had to sleep on the couch, just not good enough, I will never recommend this property to anyone, the whole experience was was disgusting

Perfect location.

We loved Port Macdonnell. There is so much to do in the area, great bike and walking tracks, mount shank is just down the road with a fantastic hiking track, great local pub and everybody was so friendly. Our cottage was in a fantastic location, we spent a lot of time in the sun room admiring the stunning view. The cottage was cosy, clean and tidy, had everything you needed and secure yard for your dog. We arrived on a cold afternoon and the heater was on for us, which was lovely! Communication with the owners was excellent! We will definitely be back to beautiful Port Macdonnell. Thanks so much Niel and Janine

Good, easy and affordable

Would be absolutely lovely for summer...but with how cold this past month has been the a/c struggled to keep up. Plus having to go to the toilet or shower out of the main house made it a dreaded trip to the facilities. If it was summer there would not be an issue at all. We all still enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely little cottage with magnificent views. I look forward to booking for a summer trip. Thankyou

Really good, but the sensor lights kept coming on at night , was a bit frightening, had to keep checking my car, overall though the dog and I enjoyed it very much.

A lovely, solid and warm cottage that was appreciated during our windy weather stay. Great heater which was needed in early March, a warm toasty bed and roomy home.

Close to beach and open spaces for kids to play

Have stayed here a few times now - terrific cottage opposite the water with nice back yard for the dog. Shed is great for storing fishing gear etc. during your stay.

Port Macdonnell is a really pretty coastal spot with scenic views and plenty of fresh air. A small community with a few food outlets a grocery store and a pharmacy. Plenty of lovely walking areas and parks for the children to enjoy. It is a clean and tidy town. Some of the key factors for us were that we required pet friendly accomodation, after travelling most of the day the secure fenced rear garden was welcomed by our little doggy. Affordability was another factor and we were completely satisfied with the cost. Location was important, due to the nature of our visit, a quiet peaceful location meant a lot to us, the view from the sitting area was really calming. The cottage was clean, tidy, comfortable and very welcoming, the kitchen was decked out beautifully with everything you would need to be comfortable for a while if you were looking for a holiday vacation. The beds were comfy, plenty of fresh towels provided. Overall we were really pleased with our choice of accomodation. A big thank you to the hosts Cathy and Adam for providing such a lovely cottage for all to enjoy.

Cottage is well appointed with dining room overlooking the beach, and contains all necessities for a short or long term "beach holiday". Fantastic location. Would definitely rebook if in the area.

We had a wonderful time staying at Port MacDonnell. The accommodation is beachfront and private. My dog was happy to spend time there too ! So much to see and do. Love there being no wifi to help us all switch off.
