The breakfast was great with a lot of selection. I am pleased to see the rooms upgrade to modern ones especially the bathroom.

The only thing would be is to have the couch in the room facing the TV as there was only a single chair that faced that way.

Rooms were tidy, modern and comfortable. Beautiful garden. Just a super short drive into town. Would definitely stay again.

On a Friday night they had no dining room available ( they’d sent the chef home), and consequently no room service. This is a motel that advertises itself as a resort and advertises room service until 8pm. It honestly is trying to manage on too few reception/ bar staff. They smiled all the way through and always offered an apology. Really a place this size and so far from town should have an alternative menu to feed its customers if they can’t afford to keep their chef on. Additionally they could warn customers and provide links to take away that will deliver out to their “Resort”. There are no facilities in the room to make yourself dinner (plates or knives and forks). Keep customers advised that dinner will not be available if they are advertising that it exists.

Room was clean, spacious and balcony area was great. Pool as heated and the kids loved it. The indoor heating was great to keep up warm at near zero temperatures.

Beds could have been more comfortable. At night, the pipes got a bit noisy in our room when others were using the shower. Air conditioner was noisy at times.

The food was shocking. The first stay I had 2 entrees inedible. This time I had a steak I gave it to the dog it was fatty and tough. Plus sourdough grilled it’s a wonder I didn’t break a tooth it was so overcooked

The restaurant is not what we thought. The prices were on higher end and menu sounded great so we were expecting an amazing meal but the food wasn’t that good and some of it was cold. The fire place wasn’t lit and it was slightly cold inside, I believe that had some heat coming through but it didn’t heat up the room.
