inattentive staff, old and outdated bathroom, had to fix a leak in the toilet, awful breakfast, woke up at 7am to construction outside our window

We chose the hotel for its location, which was close to a number of restaurants, and accessible to downtown. We also needed ti be at a soccer field for my son’s tournament all weekend which is why we chose the Brossard location.

They canceled our reservation for the second night and moved us to a different hotel 20 minutes away into a room that we did not ask for (king with a very uncomfortable sofa bed). We had booked two queens. We weren’t given any compensation for the change until we complained to the second location. They couldn’t change our room to what we had reserved, but at least apologized which is more than I can say for the brossard location. There was also a massive tour bus staying at the new location which. Locked the entrance while they checked them all in. After having to change hotels against our choice, this was just the last straw. We will not be staying at this hotel chain again.

Outdated and despite of some renovations, many things are very old. The heating system for example from the 80s. And didn't work properly.

Up from the States, we appreciated the great check-in assistance from the young man at the desk after our intended stay at another motel fell through. This is a comfortable, outstanding location with daily hot breakfast and is close to restaurants and anything you may need.

Location was just a bit tricky to find at first, but okay once we understood the route. (Pretty hard to find anything to criticize!)

I had several online meetings but the construction near the building was so noisy and annoying during the morning

where do I begin? 1. to start off - the reception double booked us into a room that was already allocated to someone else. what an unpleasant way to start your stay. 2. the washroom flush was broken and had to be fixed. 3. the refrigerator was not working. apparently ot wasn’t plugged in. when the staff came to plug it in - they disconnected all other appliances. we found that out since we took it upon ourselves to investigate after reminder to get it checked got us no action 4. perhaps the worst of all - despite a written request for a turn down service and a clean up of the bathroom when we left for the day, we returned to our room - just in the same condition. messy bathroom, undone bed. Despite the staff having more than 12 hours to do the room. This to me was totally unacceptable. 5. The breakfast on the last day of our stay was closed 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. this despite several guests still waiting in the area to start. 6. The dining area is not designed to handle a busy booking schedule. too small and too cramped. All in all totally NOT WORTH the avg $250 a night price tag. save yourself some misery and stay away from the hotel. .
