View nice, restaurant was great

Dis-liked nothing

We had never visited Magog and booked the hotel online without much detail. Location was beautiful - on the lake and an easy walk into town.

The gas fireplace in the room was permanently radiating heat and we had to call maintenance to have it turned off. Temperature in the room was 25 even with the windows open. Thermostat would allow us to “turn on” AC, but it had been shut off centrally so no help there.

Check in is a little late at 4pm

Location was great; staff was friendly; private patio was nice

Soundproofing was very bad. Could hear people above us walking around and it was loud.

Big room, bed really comfy, near everything, view is amazing. The pool is great too

Cleanliness was not as expected and service was poor. We were told there was no place available at the restaurant for the night bit the online revervations showed otherwise. Maybe the fact that we were with a young child made the manager try to push us away. Overvall, much overrated, old motel renovated trying to look like a boutique hotel.

We loved the view of the lake! It's the perfect location! All the staff was friendly and helpful. Super clean and quiet. The hotel was perfect for our family! We will be returning next year!!!

The room was really nice and very clean!

The terrace at the hotel was closed on Monday and Tuesday, it was inconvenient.

Great location and property. The restaurant on site is great. Clean room.

The price. More expensive than it should be for a very small room. The 5:30am train whistle (5 times) right in front of hotel is unnerving and unexpected, albeit not the hotel's responsibility but they could have warned us about it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean. The bed was comfortable. The location and lake view were wonderful. We very much appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine in the room!

The room rate was a bit on the high side. There was no lift and not enough ramp to get bags to the 2nd floor.

Staff , restaurant, rooms!

There is no inside activity, no spa or indoor pool! Would be perfect if they add some entertainment specifically for kids when outside weather force to stay in.!

The location was exceptional to be near the water and able to walk downtown. The patio was not set up, so we made our own way to sit outside and enjoy. The room was very small considering expectations. We didn’t have a couch but two reading chairs, and no fireplace which I thought all rooms had. Our first night we ate at restaurant so didn’t need to drive anywhere which was luxurious. Great food and good experience. No pool or other bonus amenities but we enjoyed.
