Close to Aquarium

Elevator has a aggressive thumb when it start to lift. Stains on wall and bed curtain sheet. Wall plugs did not charge phone at all. Hot over 80 degrees a.c off. Refrigerator barley cooled.

The hotel has an underground secure locked parking. We left the car at the hotel and walked downtown. The room was cleaned very well each day. The cleaning staff were also very polite when we met them in the corridor.

We arrived at 1AM and was greeted by 2 roaches in the room. The Night Auditor said he couldn’t do anything about it. I had my little baby with me and he loves to play in the floor. We decided not to create an issue and do the cleaning ourselves. When it was time for check-out; we woke up late. I went to the front desk at 10:50am and told the morning Front Desk agent that I am requesting a late check out. I was told that’s impossible. No worries. I rushed back to the room and tried to remove everything. My family didn’t even shower for our next tourist destination. We had to leave in a hurry. While doing so, the attendant came and said if we don’t leave within the next few minutes the police will come to escort us off the property. Escort us off the property? Why? Is it because we’re a black family? I would have feel more comfortable you charged my card for an extra day and keep my deposit as opposed to calling the cops on us. My family have never been more embarrassed.

Location is good, it’s clean

I didn’t mind it but could do with modernising. Also wasn’t told of the 100 dollar deposit that takes 5 days to get out back on your card.

Paid parking for a place with a garage

There was no way we were going to stay there. The surroundings looked unsafe, there were homeless people around and there was no parking. Basically you had to park far away and with the luggage to carry in a creepy area, no way.

Parking was not free as advertised on line.

Comfortable room and bed, good heating and cooling. Housekeeping was very good

Could hear other guests and nearby lobby pretty easily, thin walls

It was noicy because of the street, even with closed windows and in the night

Room was clean. Bed was good. Parking was fine. I intend to stay here again..

The $100 security deposit is ridiculous. No it is not standard. I have literally never experienced this in another hotel.

uncomfortable bed and fact my son was told he couldn't park in one of the 14 empty spaces for 1 hr. He was told he needed to pay $15 ...he was not staying long ...so he moved it down to next to the strip club parking area around the corner. Not very safe place (seedy characters).
