The staff is friendly.

The room was not what I expected. It stated in the description there's a balcony with ocean view; however, it was a a sitting area which connects to the parking lot. We felt there's no privacy with curtains open because the room was facing to the parking lot on the ground floor. We booked the hotel for a mini gateway where we thought we could enjoy the ocean view but we couldn't. So we decided to upgrade our room where we could have our curtain open which is on the 2nd floor with paying so much more. Also it stated in the description there's streaming service, but we had to ask the front desk and were told that not each room comes with the service...luckily our room has Netflix you just need to ask the front desk to give you a another remote for the service....which I felt was a bit misleading.....

Want to thank John at front desk, evening shift, he truly went above and beyond for us. So gracious and helpful. We ate a late dinner at the Qualicum Beach Cafe in the Hotel, and the food, service and entertainment were absolutely incredible. The tenderloin absolutely melted in your mouth!

Honestly, everything was great. My only concern would be to let people know there is no elevator for the second floor, which is where you will get the best ocean views, so may be an issue for anyone with disabilities. Great hotel overall though, very pleased.

The room was very roomy and comfortable. Staff were friendly and pool facilities well maintained.

The restaurant seemed a bit pricey and noisy.

The heating system was very noisy (the fan) and even though I turned ours off in the night, the neighbouring bedroom's heater was exceptionally loud as well.

it was my first Christmas away after moving from Qualicum . seeing the beach would have been nice. I know the location and facility well as was a regular since it opened.

I was placed in probably the only room looking out the back ( at my truck) I asked about the ocean but it was an additional hundred dollars and having worked a lot in the travel industry was pretty certain they. oils have just moved me across the hall for good relations if they had rooms available. plus my genius with booking . com says free upgrades so this was Christmas Eve I came down Christmas morning at eight oh ma’am, the restaurant is not open until two. can I get coffee? there is a machine in your room but it doesn’t have honey and milk? I left and went to my daughters as I was booked for Christmas dinner I asked the bartender when the cafe opened the next morning-he said ten-but then he offered me a americano/ just call when you awaken ma’am and I’ll make you a cup of coffee. that goes a long way and the hostess was also great as she fit me family, ten of us, for brunch.

Bed was not comfortable, bathroom was small, Pool, restaurant and bar closed early and opened late we could not use. No privacy on our deck as many rooms join this common area, shared with others, it needs side screens as sliding door and curtains had to be closed.

Great friendly staff. Beautiful ocean views. Comfortable bed. Just a great location.

Parking was a challenge, because you have to compete with the restaurant patrons. Understaffed housekeeping, requests only. Hall carpets were not maintained, they were quite stained, which made us wonder about cleanliness in general.

Everything was great. The room was very clean, cool, and comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset from our patio in the evening.

We wished that there was breakfast offered on site as it was an inconvenience to get up and drive and then return to check out later.
