on booking it says they are pet friendly but when I arrived there they hassled me for having a dog

I was harassed about having a dog and I prepaid and it said dogs were allowed . I then had to speak to the manager via the front desk agent on the phone and he made me FaceTime him to see the dog I felt harassed and I was forced to be on camera without my permission

Good price for clean room on the road, convenient for those who come to have a rest after working day or just for sleep. Bed is lage and comfortable, shower and toilet are clean. Microwave, TV, small fridge.

They are renovating some of the other rooms and the construction workers are kind of noise for the rest of the day. Neighbors from ather rooms are late smokers and talkers, but that's acceptable and expected for this price range.

It was clean, the bathroom was pretty well tiled and clean. They had a Roku tv, which means lots of channels and it's a smart TV. It was comfortable, the staff were kind and the price was good. I was in room 6. Highly recommended.

Very poorly presented as a whole. Run down and untidy. Rooms are very shabby with poor to no decoration and very poorly finished. Lots of rough drywall fill and unpainted. Bedding appeared clean but very old with marks and tears. Towels were very old and not fit for purpose. Room smelt badly of stale smoke.

The couple there were fantastic. A warm energy like you wouldn’t believe. We arrived at nearly 9pm and the gentleman was so friendly. It felt really good to arrive. The heating was also great and it had a decent size fridge and a microwave. Smart TV was a big plus.

We needed a cheap place to stay and that’s exactly what It was. It’s definitely not fancy, the room we were in anyway, , but it’s not a dump. Just very dated and a little unexpected in certain ways. For example, the sink in the bathroom was a really strange patch job. On this particular day when we checked into our room we pulled the covers and sheets down on the Ben only to discover they were not clean sheets. Since there was hair on the pillow and dirt on the area where someone’s feet feet go at the bottom of the bed, it was obvious that the sheets hadn’t been changed. Some people might be horrified at this. However, I simply went to to the office door and the host immediately retrieved very fresh sheets and brought them to our room with his wife to make the bed for us. To be honest, the one thing that was an issue is that the room didn’t seem clean in general. So, I actually cleaned it myself when we first settled in. 🤷🏻 Their sincerity of apology and doting on us though, made us feel comfortable and after this happened was obvious and felt good. I feel that honesty is key. I feel too that you rarely get fussed over to make things right, and I think we only paid $62 including tax. So, still fine with it. I gave the room a 4 but added 3 for the people and how the issue we had unfolded. I’d go again.

If you are looking for a clean quiet no frills stay hotel… This one can't be beat! The management team of this locally owned property extremely welcoming and informative… as I travel to Hamilton monthly… I am thrilled for this find

Would have been nice if we didn't have to wait 3 hrs past checking because my room had been rented out for a couple to have mid day sex in my room!!!
