Very run down. AC not working in hallways but was in room. Rugs buckled when trying to push luggage. Very hard to push them. Ceilings were stained from water spots. Thankfully i had brought my own portable fan.

Perfect location, walking distance from the terminal if you don't have lots of luggage. Comfortable and clean rooms, equipped with a large tv and a frigo bar. The restaurant opens only I. The afternoon for a quick bite and a drink.

Liked the free aiport shuttle to and from the airport. Also liked having a convenience store within the hotel to buy items we needed. Easy check in and check out too.

The hotel and rooms are a little dated.

Location near the airport

I have a mobility impairment. I asked for as ADA room. I was informed that the ADA rooms are only on upper floors. The floors between the elevator and my room which was more than half way down the very long hallway. There was no bell captain to assist me on departure so I had to drag my luggage which was on wheels down the long hallway using my cane to walk. When I got to the lobby I had to go back to collect my second bag and went through the same process. By the time I got down to the lobby with my second bag there were no seats on the morning’s first shuttle. So I asked the desk to call a taxi for me and a colleague.

The hotel tried to charge me $10 extra, then insisted on a $270 security deposit, in case I damaged the room. On arriving at the room, the contents were hardly worth $270 and it smelled of cigarette smoke. The place is run down, very disappointed to have spent my money here.

NO RESTAURANT. I had to cobble together a dinner from a paper tray of poke and some shortbread and nuts from the gift shop. Big thumbs down!!!! No breakfast either!

Airport shuttle was great and easy to organise from luggage collection. You have phones in the area you can use to push 0, ask for the shuttle and they send one to collect you at the arranged area. From domestic its out and left from Hawaiian domestic terminal. They will advise though. Served its purpose as we had a 11.30am flight the following day and wanted to be minutes away from the airport. (keeping in mind this was just after the Maui fires and evacuation). The rooms are way bigger than usual and if you remember how they use to be you will remember the space you had. Clean and tidy which was great. The laundry areas were awesome and 24/7. You could use a card or quarters. $4.75 per load and same cost for an hour on the drier. They don't have coin machines in there but they have a place you can buy tide or dryer sheets. So for us location was great, pictures matched the photos and bonus pool area was cold and deep. Loved the pool! they also have a lift to put disabilities in the pool but also sturdy steps and a solid bar. They also have a bar/snack bar area that opens from the foyer and is quite good. some music, bar snack food and good drinks to end a night is always good. No breakfast served at this place

They had a broken lift so the walking for my dad was too much as our room was in the middle but you had to walk the full corridor in the main building and then back to the unit. They did have a wheelchair so please if you bring someone you need to ask. They should have asked if we needed it because the shuttle driver helped us put my dad on and he was the bell hop guy too! the little gift shop in the hotel was expensive as but will work in a pinch.

The airport shuttle picked my family up and dropped us off promptly upon calling the front desk. We liked how close the hotel was to the airport and the hotel restaurant exceeded our expectations. (The pizza for our son was outstanding!)

When we first arrived at our room (2nd floor, end room, farthest from the check-in desk) my wife started to unpack while we waited for a bassinet to be delivered. She noticed a cockroach on the TV and called me in to take care of it. Cockroaches don't normally bother me so I wasn't alarmed, especially since it was very tiny. Our bassinet arrived and I started to put my baby down for a nap. That's when my wife shrieked from the bathroom that there were more cockroaches. Arriving into the bathroom there were 6 on the counter crawling in and out of the countertop. I went to my bag to get something to swat them and I saw 8 more of varying sizes crawling in the light by the TV. We immediately packed up and went into the hallway. I went back in to call the front desk to get a new room and they accommodated us. We moved far enough down the hall from the original room that my wife could sleep with minimal worry. We did not see any cockroaches in the new room.

$US40 per day to park car is simply extortion. Person in charge of the convenience store obviously missed the class on 'customer service'. Rude and dismissive.
