The size of the room

Very important to me is coffee, morning coffee, and I don’t want to get dressed to get it. The coffee maker in my room didn’t work. I asked the counter girl before I checked in and was assured…Plus, no smiles from the staff here. Coffee was offered in office

Location was great for the activity I planned in the area. The Menlo Park Inn was a little dated. I only dealt with 1 staff person during my stay (when I checked in and that interaction was unremarkable). It was a quiet place and it served its purpose - a place to sleep and shower for a couple of days.

The website says they serve breakfast. For some travelers that is an added value (something you look for when comparing places to stay). When I arrived, there was a sign in the lobby stating due to Covid-19 they were no longer serving breakfast. Well, we have been living with Covid for almost 2 years now. I doubt you stopped serving breakfast last week. You should probably take that off the website for transparency.

it was clean and the lobby area was very nice. it was pretty quiet for being on El Camino Real. it’s vintage feeling inside but the bed was very comfy and the room was spacious as was the bathroom.
