the property was at such a pretty location , once I knew where it was , it was an easy guess that it’d have a beautiful view . the people were also super kind . the bathrooms were elegant too .
the only down side was that it was supposed to have a part of the ocean view , turned out to be barely a view and it didn’t feel like it was worth the amount payed .

No stairs to the top floor was very odd. Elevator was very slow.

Amazing location, charming atmosphere, and beautiful room. The staff was excellent and made us feel really welcome.

Breakfast view was charged way to much by Booking .Com they said 1061 plus taxes they charged me 1414 plus taxes paid over 400 hundred dollars

The Blue Lantern in was an absolute delight. I travel to the area quite often and the Blue Lantern is my go to place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff always goes above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and the location can't be beat.

The hotel is beautiful in an amazing location. Breakfast was wonderful.
All of the pillows on the beds were too thick for sleeping. I got a sore neck and back and couldn't sleep well fighting with my pillow to try to get comfortable. Also, there was a threaded needle on the carpet from a previous guest. Luckily I found it before we stepped on it.

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL!!!!!! FROM START TO FINISH THE HOTEL WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND - WE FELT VERY PAMPERED HERE - THE STAFF (CATHY) WAS AMAZING AND EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. THE ROOM WAS AMAZING AND THE BED FELT LIKE A CLOUD. WE HAD A PATIO SUITE AND THE VIEWS WERE AMAZING. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND LOOK FORWARD TO GOING BACK!!!

coffee pods were not replenished in the room for my arrival and morning wake up. and then phone would not work when I wanted to call up for some.

My husband and I love the location of The Blue Lantern Inn. Located on a cul-de-sac, it offers spectacular harbor and ocean views. The rooms are bright and airy. The breakfast buffet never disappoints. The staff is friendly and keeps the atmosphere relaxed and homey.

I can't imagine a better experience. It was romantic, relaxing, close walk to interesting adventures and great restaurants. Perfect. And a darned good breakfast. Kind and caring staff. 5 Star!

The Inn is located on a bluff overlooking Dana Point Harbor, beautiful. Walking. Hiking. Swimming. Sailing, pattl boarding its all walking or a 2 minute drive. Love this Inn.
