Pool need maintenance

good simple breakfast with option of full hot breakfast

did not expect $15 a day facility fee and facility tax of $2.25 ($17.25 per day extra)

The stay was too short!

Pool was nice

The bed was broken and the heater was broken and kept us up all night.

I love the hotel location, very close to places I have to visit. Vintage and lovely hotel with New England feel. Love it! The reason I'm not giving a great review is because all three times I stayed at the Inn I was disturbed either by the noisy housekeepers, staff walking and knocking on my door. The first visit, someone basically open my door very early in the morning. Second, the housekeepers were very loud and kept smacking the doors over door metal latch. Then the third visit, I asked for a late check out at noon. The lovely lady said it shouldn't be a problem and said I was fine for me to checkout at twelve. Ten minutes passed eleven, someone was knocking on my door. I don't usually waste my time reviewing any place I stay, unless it is dirty or disturbing. I have tried three times staying at the inn with the hope that it would be a better stay experience. Unfortunately I'm not staying there again. Too bad because I do love their bed, restaurant and the hotel overall apart from their disrupt ways. I hope the manager read this review because they should order some " DO NOT DISTURB " SIGNS. I have never been at any hotel that doesn't have an available sign in their rooms. Bad for your business because I'm in Simsbury every month.

we loved the atmosphere and decorations

The location was great! Close to food and family during Christmas holidays.

Beautiful old hotel! wonderful Christmas decorations. Breakfast was a simple continental breakfast….. coffee , juice, tea, assorted pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Traveling for holidays, checked in late and on the road early! Would have loved to hang out and explore the hotel amenities!

Super uncomfortable bed

Very spacious and quiet room. Delicious Harney teas available plus good coffee and assortment of continental breakfast items. Room temperature was perfect for sleeping. Overall charming and pleasant.

Mattress was on the hard side and a bit lumpy. Shower spray was functional but half the water was pouring out of the spigot.

Rooms need an upgrade. Walls and furniture are pretty scratched up.

We like the hotel and always stay here when we come to the Hartford area. Rooms are clean, large. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. It costs a bit more than other hotels and we don't take full advantage of the amenities so we probably do not get full value but that's on us.

The coffee could be better.

A wonderful place - very comfortable and pleasant - very welcoming Great rooms, large and comfortable - great beds - perfect, clean and tastefully decorated A continental breakfast was included Nice pool

Not a lot really ! - to add to the glamour of the place, the breakfast could be better presented. Admittedly a very minor point. I would have loved an espresso!
