The curtain in the bathroom had mold

The hotel location was great. Our room was spacious.

The room needed an update. The furniture was old looking and the mattress was hard. Also, I indicated online that I would pay on arrival. When we checked in I was ready to pay and the woman at the front desk stated that they had already charged my credit card at 11 am that morning.

The grounds were kept nicely with many flowers. It was a pleasant walk into town.

Good location across from mall with variety of restaurants. Recently updated. Close to 101 freeway.

Limited amenities, no breakfast. I be stayed her a few times, usually in the fall, and it is usually reasonable, however, seemed pretty pricey this time, I suppose because it was summer and tourist season.

The room had no carpeting just great hardwood flooring, which is a plus if you have allergies! You could tell that the room was newly furnished & the location of the hotel/motel was even better than I expected. It was just off Hwy 1.

The location and the ground upkeep outside of the place. The flowers made the place look very welcoming. The rooms were easy to get to and parking was easy.

There were couples arguing in a couple of the rooms and were quite loud, one couple was drunk It made the visit extremely uncomfortable as I was unable to complain to the front desk by phone and it was between 1:30 am and 3:30 am. We left by 4 am with no sleep. Luckily we were only 5 hours away from home, but the stay made our last day of travel worse.

Staff was simply careless. I arrived very late, but just before check in closed (I choose this place precisely because check in would be open until 11:30pm) and was treated like receiving a favor. Very very bad customer service. Rude. Everything else was OK, which was expected considering the price, but the service makes me feel like going somewhere else if I ever return for a solo budget night in Monterrey (hopefully never)

DOGS BARKING FOR HOURS. NO HOT WATER! The heater was also broken. Half the staff was rude and unhelpful.

Clean large rooms, comfortable bed great location. Shopping and good dining very close by and easy freeway access.

Former owner, Knights Inn had light breakfast, juices and hot chocolate available in the morning. No longer available, this is a big loss.

The room was not clean at all sadly, there was hair on the walls of the shower among other things, we had to go to another hotel. They’re also charging the complete price! Not just a cancellation fee, but the whole amount as if we stayed there.
