Terrible front desk staff who are extremely unprofessional and appear to be loud quitting. We arrived at midnight exhausted with two small children after a 24 hour flight, to be told by the front desk staff the room we had reserved in advance with two double beds and a sofa had been sold to someone else. Instead we had been downgraded to a room with only one double bed and a sofa bed. They did not offer a discount. They had not made up the sofa bed in advance, despite the room being booked for 4 people. They did not even offer to make it up. Instead they thrust a bundle of sheets and a pillow into my arms - the implication being we would need to fix their mistake and make up their sofa bed at midnight. We had 3 suitcases and they didn’t bother to help us with them. We were so tired and the staff were clearly such a lost cause, I didn’t complain and did it all myself. The next day we went to the pool, and it was extremely noisy because there was a large rowdy group for a children’s birthday party. I can’t be sure, but it looked like they weren’t hotel guests and one of the front desk staff was sneaking them into the building via the emergency exits. The next day at breakfast I asked for water for our baby, and I was told by the front desk staff there is a water fountain in the gym, which I could fetch myself. At this point there were 3 members of staff behind the front desk, who were playing on their phones. The front desk staff seemed to be competing for the award for the worst customer service in America. The only saving grace is Chris the assistant general manager did issue a discount when I complained about the room downgrade. But this did not make up for the bad attitude of the front desk staff.

Needs more parking and the asst manager was extremely rude when we checked in. Our room wasn’t ready, we left and came back almost two hours later and it still wasn’t ready. He kept saying we’re booked up and they’re behind which was fine, but his attitude was horrible. He snapped at people when answering questions.
