The pillows sucked

The neighborhood looked pretty safe

I did not like the idea that my room was next to an external exit door. I could hear everyone that came in and out of the door

The room was spacious and quiet. The hotel was in a great location to restaurants, etc.

I forgot to give my membership number to credit for staying two nights. No one asked me at the desk when I checked in. An older Caucasian lady was rude to me at the front desk on my second day while I was paying for an item from the hotel store with another staff member. She rudely interrupted our conversation and loudly said, " you have a dog". I looked at her and stated, "yes, I have a service animal". My service animal was wearing his red vest and dog tag and very well behaved ( no sounds, no jumping) The lady loudly said again, "you have a dog and dogs aren't allowed in the hotel". I said like I said, he's a service animal not a "dog". She replied, "he is a dog". There is a plate on the wall of the hotel as you enter that states "service animals are allowed" so I'm not sure why she was rude to me and did not know the law or hotel's rules. I told her i had his certificate and other documents upstairs if she felt the need to actually see them.

The room wasn't as clean as I would've liked (hairs in bathroom) and the air conditioning was messed up. If you wanted to raise the temperature a bit, the heater would come on. Either too hot or too cold.

The staff were so pleasant, so nice polite and very helpful.

The bathroom was not very clean. There were yellow stains at the bottom of the toilet. I had to clean myself. Also, there was hairs in the shower including on the shampoo and conditioner pumps. Very disgusting.

Once we got there, the stay was wonderful. The beds were very comfy, The shower was clean and roomy, the black out curtains were AMAZING especially with the fabulous noon check out. Front desk staff and bistro staff were super kind and helpful!!

The customer support BEFORE arrival is horrible. I booked through Booking.com but when I had questions about the rooms was instructed to call the # for the hotel. That number sent me down an automated menu spiral from Hell that ultimately ended me up with mostly people who either couldn't find my reservations or some how couldn't hear me or disconnected me all together. The few helpful people I did get were very helpful though. Getting to them was a nightmare. Led to alot of probably unnecessary anxiety for me.

was disappointed in cleanliness of room. there was food in the refrigerator and the drawers. made me wondered how much cleaning was done. and bathroom was a little dirty.
