The WORST hotel experience ever from the moment I walked up to the reception desk. I travel for business for a living. Spend nearly 30 weeks a year on the road and have done so for 40 years. I have never written a negative review. I understand the hospitality industry. Sometimes, it's hit and miss with what you get. Don't know how this place stays in business. The WORST security in a very unsafe environment. No one cared or wanted to address broken doors that allowed anyone to enter the property at any time (which was happening). Rude, incompetent, personal. Clueless in customer service. I could go on, but there's no point.The place was dirty and smelly. A "vagrant" was inside wandering the hall touching all the doors. I left the property after being locked out of my room and nearly getting into an altercation with the "desk" person to try to get back into my room for my overnight bag. Management was called, and response was pathetic. I have no idea where these people come from, but the hotel business should not be on their resume. I left the moment I was able to get back into the room and got my bag. I drove a short distance to a Sleep Inn, was greeted exactly the way one expects, and had nothing but a courteous and professional treatment. I have used Baymont properties over the years. They honestly can be hit and miss, but this one was the exception. I barely touched on the altercation at the reception desk, and this review can't possibly express either the feelings and treatment. They took a copy of my driver's license, ILEGAL l in S.C. . When questioned, admitted mistake, and tore the paper in half and threw it in the trash. When I questioned that, I got an eye roll and the fun started from there. I will totally bypass Baymont in the future and NEVER recommend them to anyone. I'm making the exact trip again this week. Don't have to think twice about where I'm NOT staying.

Big bug problem ! Ac did not work !, lots of unsafe wires out and safety precautions

The on-site manager was very aggressive and refused to let guests sit in the lobby. When questioned as to why, he began yelling at guests saying it was their “policy” The manager and his wife were also yelling at staff in front of guests, very unprofessional.

The pictures on here and the physical place are completely different. It’s $100 deposit once you get there. The a/c doesn’t work. The elevator got stuck twice. And the room is full of roaches. We checked in and immediately checked out.

The hallways smelled like mildew and the elevator was even worse! The elevator smelled like someone urinated in there. My room had 3 dead roaches and when I woke up roaches were crawling up the wall and all on my toothbrush and toothpaste this morning.
