Beautiful, eclectic, historic

Everything was great. We stayed in the 4th floor corner suite and would have preferred either windows that opened or a ceiling fan

This is the second 21c we’ve stayed at and it doesn’t disappoint. Marvelous concept, expertly and meticulously executed. Taking old properties to preserve and rebuild is risky yet in both locations (Kansas City the other) they’ve created masterpieces. Above all they’re comfortable and quiet, even in downtown settings. Highest recommendation.

The art displayed around the hotel. The blacklight in our bathroom. The large bathroom toiletries.

The lobby had an odd, old smell. No free parking.

Staff were very helpful and generous since we were celebrating our anniversary.

Staff was nice and room was clean and quality.

The cleaning staff started cleaning rooms around us at about 7:45am and they were being loud and allowing the doors to slam every time they went in and out. They were noisy and talking and it sounded like a construction site was next to us. We were awakened and couldn’t go back to sleep. It was rude, inconsiderate and annoying and I paid a lot of money for a room to be woken up so early and disturbed with excessive noise.
