great location, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed.

toilet back-up issues 2x, and outlets not great at holding plugs (they would fall out of the outlet easily).

The property is very quiet. Our cottage was impressively clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The pillows were thin and hard. There were 3 pillows on the bed. We would have appreciated 2 each. Next time we’re bringing our own pillows.

could have used nicer lighting and a rug or two. would prefer a king bed but maybe couldn’t fit.

I loved that the property was right by the beach. The location felt safe & the lay out of the cottages were so cozy & home self. The staff was amazing!

There were ants where our microwave & all the coffee stuff were & one of the bolts in our lights turned off.

Feels very dated. Room was not set up well with chairs and table not very usable. Our room was right near the fire pit where people stayed up late chatting. No fan to turn on for white noise. First receptionist was quite rude but the others were nice.

A bit rusty

The town of Pacific Grove, where the property was located, is absolutely lovely.

The accommodations are revolting: grimy, dirty, smelling of cigarettes, stale beer and vomit, and the staff is overly rude.

We stayed here for the night after visiting Monterey. The cottage was small but clean. Easy check in and check out. The beds were comfortable and the fridge worked good. Good location.

No ac or fans so the rooms were stuffy. The tv have no way of watching Netflix besides the basic channels. The tv remotes are horrible too. I would have to press a button like 3 times before it changed the channel.

The bed was very comfortable.

It was not a cottage that was expected.

quaint little cottages with kitchen, fireplace, parking right in front of cottage; private peaceful location near monarch butterfly sanctuary and coastal trail to Lovers Point; continental breakfast and snacks appreciated with pleasant staff (special kudos to Danielle, so pleasant/accommodating when I had to change my dates); didnt get to hang out by outdoor community firepit but hope to next time, already booked another stay with visiting friends from the east coast

only challenge is it sells out!

Great location near the ocean, short walk to the water, cute grounds and friendly staff

Walking distance to beach. A nice private path to walk the dogs to ‘do their business’! Poop bags along the path. Nice, big room & bath tub. Beds were comfortable. The fireplace was wonderful! Staff very nice & professional.

The stove top overheated frying steaks, so we had to wait until it cooled down to cook or shrimp. Breakfast was the same way, But we decided to only cook eggs and it still overheated after using it. Didn’t like the parking area right next the the cottages. But we never saw any car lights shining in our room (with curtains closed). There was no dish strainer or dish cloth. The continental breakfast was sad; but maybe pastries gone before I arrived. A few times I could hear guests talking in adjacent rooms, so we just played music. When I called, I asked if we could bring the dogs, they said yes. When I arrived, I was surprised to be asked what their weight was; thought. this should’ve been brought up when I called. However, I did see something in the reservation about charging more for bigger dogs. But I wasn’t surprised to have it as an extra charge, although I don’t think it should’ve been taxed. But they were guess so I guess that’s reasonable.

very nicely maintained- flowering and pretty beds very! and nicely made-comfortable and multiple TVs. kitchen well supplied and refrig good size. Desk Clerks pleasant and attentive.

ants in our kitchen and bathroom upon arrival. scout ants? didn't seem to be attracted to anything. told front desk. they said they'd spray back of our cottage while we were gone that day. unknown if they sprayed? Scout ants continued thru our 4 night stay. Dead bug behind shade on sill of bedroom window, dirt on top of light switches.
