Rooms and facilities way out of date and no better than any motor inn. You can hear every conversation through the wall and people above you using the bathroom. Everything feels tired and worn from carpets to bedding and you are charging $800 for that, which is ridiculous. Then, you check out and there is another $140 on top including a $35 facility fee-for what, the room was not serviced, and everything else should be what hotels do! Bathrooms were very small and old with nowhere to even put your toiletries. Before checking out the room was stripped at 9-30 am when we popped down for breakfast and to drop items to the car. It was the only time we saw service

hard to get into parking lot. room was a bit worn. gal at the desk was almost unintelligible with her accent. might have been OK if I was in Paraguay but not in Newport. sorry if I’m not pc.

convenient to town.

I had requested a king size bed from the day I booked the room. when we arrived I was informed it was going to be an $80 up charge for a king size bed. That means to stay in a room for one night from 6:45 Pm- 11:00am check the next day was $371! That is an absurd amount to pay.

The facility was beautiful and the staff was all friendly and amazing.

It was a bit pricey. For what we paid o would have expected a little more such as complimentary breakfast or at least coffee!

friendly staff, comfortable pillows and beds , very clean.

bathroom too small, soap dish too high in the shower (bumped my head)window screen was ripped and torn, windows very dirty so the water view was not as expected. can hear people in the next room talking and coughing. no not water for tea.

We had a harbor side room with a great view of the marina and surrounding area.The staff was exceptional.And my granddaughters had a great time in the pool

The rooms were ok. the beds were not comfortable and the mattresses were old. my daughter threw up and we had change the sheets. the mattress cover was not waterproof. That’s gross and unsanitary.

The location was perfect. In walking distance to all of the places we went to. The breakfast the next morning was great!!

I thought the room & bathroom were a little small.

It’s conveniently located near all shops and the shore. It was clean and the staff were friendly!

Half water view.....Should have been total cause I paid for that.

Front desk people chained to what they were told to say. No option to make decisions. Kind of rude at times, to be honest.

We've stayed here many times over the last 20 years.. It's the best spot in Newport, right in the middle of everything..

I really loved the central location and the friendliness of the staff. Gorgeous harbor view and the room was very clean and comfortable.

The room was pretty dated. The bed was comfortable but super low to the ground. And the tv was dated and did not have Netflix or any options besides live tv so hard to watch a movie and relax after a day of sightseeing. Pool felt warm but looked pretty dirty. 1 small black coffee and one small black tea came to $12.73. It was expensive for the off season.

The rooms were a bit dated. could use a little updating. my bed was kept up with a stack of wood. It wasn’t horrible but could have been replaced with a new frame.

The location was excellent, and the receptionist at check in was pleasant.

This hotel felt like a motel in the interior. I was shockingly disappointed at the price point to see the outdated and unimpressive room amenities and features. It was also extremely loud. The sounds from the outside with a fire station nearby were annoying but not as bad as the guests. Housekeeping was also really loud in the mornings. There was nothing peaceful about sleeping here. The saltwater restaurant wasn’t very good either. The bed wasn’t super comfy. The bathroom was small. It didn’t have built in shampoo/conditioners which is 1) more economical but 2) but more chic. Finally, the parking is a damn mess. You pay $20 extra day for Wi-Fi, parking, and “free water + house drink at the salt water restaurant.” You have to buy one get one free for breakfast - don’t bother. If you’re over here go to Drift Coffee across the street for breakfast—it’s delightful and they have vegan/GF options. I would much rather stay at the Marriott down the street. Some other tips: used Eventbrite to get tickets to the dueling piano shoe across the street from the hotel and it was well worth it. Also, did a goat hike at Simmons Farm which is 15 minutes away and highly recommend that. Newport is a very cute/great city to visit, but this hotel wasn’t it.
