The staff was very friendly. The location was amazing. It was everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
That we had to leave to come back home and work. There was nothing we didn't like.

Updated and unique with plenty of space- loved the porch - the staff so respectful, happy, always available when need , rooms serviced on time , extra snacks on porch ( cheese and meat ) was nice added touch - ask staff prior to arrival for delivery of birthday cake from local bakery and Balloons ( so perfect ) - thank you
only thing was we were in the two bed suite on porch level and one mattress need replaced - sinks in middle

The Inkwell Beach Cottage was hands down the best stay we’ve had in years. The staff went absolutely above and beyond to make sure my girlfriend’s birthday was as special as possible.

Beautiful, classic beach home in a great location…close to ferry, shops, restaurants and easily bikeable to many other parts of the island. So close to the beach! Beautiful beach sunrise with your coffee from the lovely, large porch.
The room was a bit small and the bathroom was very clean but small and old….to be expected from an historic property…but just a warning.

The staff was amazing. Fun, friendly, wonderful people. Enjoyed the sharing of ghost stories with See and Coleen.
The beds. Very loud anytime you moved. The mattresses seemed fine but definitely could use new bed frames or box springs.

The room was paneled good to ceiling (and ceiling). It felt like a dungeon. Would’ve been thrilled to have been in one of the brightly painted rooms. Couldn’t wait to leave their room behind.

location, very convenient , prettiest on the street, easy to find, night and day.
across the street is the beach. you can take the chairs and the umbrellas( they have it available )!
secure storage for bicycles. yoga in the morning at 8 am, across the street, on the same beach ! breakfast is absolutely exceptional ! she accommodated all my dietary restrictions ❤️. the recommendations on what to do, and where to go for diner were excellent. we will come back ! i can say I can find my perfect place to stay on Martha’s!

The character of the house and the very friendly staff Breakfast was good!
The mattress of the bed was too soft for me and my husband. There should be an armoire in the room, better than a dresser

Chantal was exceptionally accommodating, kind, warm, friendly and helpful. She made our stay special. Breakfasts were varied and the fruits and baked goods were of very high quality. I would highly recommend this B&B to others and hope to return. A gem!
Through no fault of yours, I would have liked a bathtub rather than just a shower.

The stay as a whole is bar none. The staff is amazing, and you wont find a greater experience in oaks bluff. The beach across the street is nice and super convenient.
The tv wasnt hi def. Short money for hdmi cables.

One of the best stays I've had in the recent years. Isabella greeted us with fresh baked cookies, and was the kindest most professional host we have ever had the pleasure to stay with. The house is located right across the street from a gorgeous stretch of beach (with a lifeguard during busy season). Room was very clean, and the amenities were very complete for such a small operation. Definitely coming back when it's warmer!

The rooms were clean and cool (arrived on a very hot day) on arrival. Nancy was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was perfect to start the day - poached eggs, bagels, toast, cereals, yogurt etc. The location is superb for everything we wanted to do. I loved the option of sitting on the deck and enjoying the views of the beach or heading down to the beach which is right on the doorstep of the house. A wonderful experience and cannot wait to come back.
