Staff was friendly especially kitchen staff. Room is in need of maintenance and a couple of cosmetic flaws.

Tub wasn't thoroughly clean neither was pool area. Need to update cooling/heating system. Drawers constantly slid open on their own. No Kleenex. But was given toiletries upon request

Door know to bathroom was very loose, tub drain plug was unscrewed and on tub side, curtains have white substance on upper edge, front edge of dresser drawer peeling off, loose paint and plaster left side of toilet, clothes hook behind bathroom door was coated in wall paint

Breakfast was delicious.

The pool was not well monitored. Other guests were throwing things at people in the pool area. It became uncomfortable and we left.

Location was perfect for the Coast Guard Festival and the beach

Had the feel of a cheap hotel. Breakfast items were not stocked and it was a waste of time trying to let the kids have breakfast unless they wanted a yogurt or bagel. The only coffee in the room was decaf. The shower curtain was falling off and it caused the bathroom to flood. Staff was not engaging and they didn’t make guest feel welcomed

I reserved this Baymont room online based on my positive experiences with others, specifically Traverse City and Mackinaw City. This entire facility seemed outdated and and dingy. The room was below my expectations. Bathroom didn't look as clean as I would have liked. Bathtub faucet had an annoying drip. There were cobwebs on the room ceiling. When I reserved a second floor room, I expected an elevator. Not so! I asked at the desk for some printed local information, a brochure, about the downtown area, but there was nothing available. I could go on, but I'm not sure management cares enough about keeping the place in decent shape. It didn't occur to me to take pictures - wish I had. TV was good, but the off-brand remote was difficult to operate. Sorry for this negative review, but you asked, and my answers reflect an honest impression of the place.

I was given an ADA room. There was no place for supplies in the bathroom to put personal things. The carpet in the room felt wet.

Breakfast was nice, with a good amount of options, my only complaint was the OJ seemed off/watered down it didn't taste the best but was tolerable. No experience in the pool but it always had people in it during my stay. The room was nice, I like that the sink was outside of the shower/toilet would be nice if there were two one in and one outside. I really liked th height of the cabinet under the tv that housed the fridge, a nice flat surface, and high up for no little hands.

You have to tell people you don't have an elevator when booking. I booked a deal with 2-Queens on the second floor not knowing, then had to find the customer service info for booking.com so they could make arrangements with the hotel for a ground-floor room if one was available. I then had to pay a higher price for that room.

Room is clean, breakfast was good, and pool is good.

facility was on need of some good cleaning on the stairwell to the second floor. Maintenance needs to make some repairs (ex door at top of stairs was dragging bad in the concrete landing). we never had housekeeping show up on our 3day stay.

The hotel has been obviously recently updated. The staff were friendly and helpful.

A center door was left open overnight in the hallway. The bathtub needs a good scrub between the seam of the shower surround and tub basin.

The bed was comfy. Breakfast was okay. Coffee was decent in the cafeteria. Good food selection just scattered on the counter.

Some stairwells need fixing and the rooms can be noisy. We had a connecting room and could hear the neighbors. The tv is very small for the space. The 3 pillows were tiny. And only 3 per queen bed. No usb plugs for phones. Sink and mirror is outside of toilet and bath area. No coffee cup in room.

The room was nice, spacious and in room amenities were great. The 24-hour coffee in the lobby was excellent. The main staff and housekeeping were very friendly, and helpful.

The breakfast was not good as the bread was old, and there was not any fresh fruit (bananas/apples). The fitness center was closed and unavailable.

The pool & hot tub is such a great thing when you have a kid! Also really like that they're pet friendly
