Location, access to the lake, pool, jacuzzi (inside and outside) place to grill.

Maybe the rug on the rooms, it was old but that’s it

Excellent, huge room - including a lounge, kitchen bathroom and bedroom. Old fashioned design and furniture, but comfortable. A beautiful place, and it felt like a privilege to stay here, if only for one brief night.

Unfortunately we checked in later than expected, and had to leave early, so this review is only based on the room. We didn't know the entire facility was non-smoking, which made it difficult for me as a smoker, and we were on the third floor of one of many blocks, which was tough carrying heavy luggage up the stairs (no lifts) after a long day's driving. There is also no restaurant on site, which is surprising. We didn't want to drive again to find food, and it was after 8pm when we arrived. We expected a lakeside lodge - thanks to the pictures on booking.com - but found ourselves in a room three floors up, overlooking the car park. Having said all that, the staff we met were wonderful, super friendly, and the location *is* beautiful.

Liked our room and view unit seemed dark. No icemaker or ice trace and Refridge…. Had to call It was unusually warm, no AC, the one fan and closet made it kind of OK Disappointed in workout room Noisy. Too many kids, and dogs out back. We were hoping for a little more solitude

Great location and view and staff was friendly.

There was so much Black Algae along the caulking and rim in bathtub it caused real bad breathing and allergenic problems for both of us the whole time. Lots of flying insects Also the bedroom and whole place was so hot and with zero Air Conditioning we had the most uncomfortable night sleep ever. So much so we forfeited the last night and days stay just to make it home where we have the cleanliness and cool air for a real comfortable nights sleep. I know this might sound bad and I’m really trying to not make it like that. The best the staff could do with all this is apologize and bring us a fly swatter. We could tell their hands were tied, at least that’s what it seemed.

Everything was great. Some of the other guests couldn’t figure out how to park in the snow. I guess handicap spots don’t count in the snow.

Beautiful location

This place was such a wonderful place. The location was great. The staff was super friendly. They had a family room with ping pong tables, foosball tables and a lot of activities to do. An indoor heated pool and a Jacuzzi. Daily activities. I mean, this place had it all. I cannot wait to go back again.

The only thing we didn't like was that they didn't have extra pillows and had to wait some time to get clean towels.... But honestly that still was not a big deal. We did go on a holiday weekend so I'm sure that is why the shortage of stuff.

We had a lake view which was so awesome, and it was useful to have an oven. I think the lake view makes up for the things I didn’t really like. I paid less than $200 for one night, which is great.

Hot water in shower stopped working after 5 mins, but it worked fine the next day. The blinds facing the lake were broken, vertical blinds with a bunch missing.

the location .. just few steps to the big bear lake . very quiet and clean facility . the fireplace is an added feature during our stay . complete full kitchen with all the chinaware. the living area is expansive .

just add a little light fixture in the bedroom .
