front desk staff was slow/unprofessional (except valet was sweet/fast/helpful) no room service sucked-pillows sucked and shower was not hot enough-lobby was freezing

Things were clean, the bathroom was wonderful and well set up. Hot water lasted forever. Convenient parking, and the restaurant was great!

There were a few stains on the comforter. The elevators were a little rickety, but it is an older building so we were expecting that.

The first room we were allocated had no hot water, and we were given another room that night. The dining room was understaffed at breakfast time. The waitress did her best under the circumstances. It was difficult to set the room heating/cooling to a steady level.

location but the downtown area was very quiet

stayed in 6 hotels during our travels in the states and it was the least attractive and most tired. The rooftop bar (apparently a real feature and attraction) was pretty dated and old. Bit like the bits of Birmingham that we saw.

The shower was foul of hair when I checked in

No hot water for our stay! The Hotel charged my credit card twice for the room and all we were offered for the hot water problem was free breakfast 🫤
