The location was good, it was right by the 101 exit (although the room was too loud). The pool was pleasant (although a bit small). Attention by hotel staff in the restaurant was very, very good.

Some front desk staff were not too pleasant, maybe they were having a rough day, most days. The room was loud, you could constantly hear the cars from the freeway and it kept me up at night. We paid for breakfast but it was tricky every day when we went to eat and had to sign the check. The last day of our stay we were told by a very patient hotel staff that the tips were included in what we had paid. However, we always worry about staff making a livable wage. and, still I think tips were expected on top of what we had already paid. It just made having breakfast very awkward and uncomfortable for me. Bathrooms needs to be updated as the ceilings were cracked and peeling and the beds seemed too old also.

Room was not cleaned properly no toilet paper In the bathroom . the ice bucket was not kept clean . Not enough wastebasket in the room . Expected more from Hyatt regency . Stayed in other hotels of similar stature but did get better place to stay in .

Hotel molto bello, curato. Camera molto amplia, pulita, confortevole e silenziosa. L’hotel dispone di un ottimo ristorante e un bar aperto fino alle 22. Bello lo spazio esterno con piscina. Personale reception molto cortese e professionale. Ottima la posizione a soli 25 minuti di auto da Malibù. Parcheggio gratuito.

They were not able to fulfill my request to remove the tax. I hold tax exemption license, but they had an exuse that the reservation was made by booking.com even though I actually payed at the property.

Super clean and smells amazing.

The staff was kind of rude, not a single smile on their faces, plus the room service was knocking my room before 10 am!! Like kicking me out too early.
