Front Desk Service, advised front desk that the AC was not working properly (Cooling). She noted my concerns and upon arrival that evening it was working some what, not a 100% however was able to sleep comfortable.

AC not working properly, it was not cooling. In my opinion all equipment, toilets, etc.. should be checked prior to allowing the consumer to occupy a room. This could be handled by some type of check off document and forwarded to manager on duty to validate that each room was checked.

iT COST WAY TOO MUCH FOR ONE NITE STAY AND TAXES OUTRAGEOUS

The breakfast was delicious, fresh and hot.

The pillows are not firm. The room rate seemed high and we had to pay extra for our hunting dog.

Clean and staff

No AC in the building, like Hallways, Elavator wasn't working at times. No toilet tissue in bathroom in our room. WiFi was Horrible couldn't connect anything. Building was musty due to no AC. We arrive at 11:30pm to check in and front doors were locked we had to wait 10 min. For someone to finally let check in.

We travel extensively. My husband and I agree that the Hampton Inn in Uvalde rates as one of the top places to stay. The young ladies working at the room desk (Melissa and Star) were very welcoming and accommodating. My husband is disabled. They gave us several room options to consider. The hot breakfast was excellent. The wide variety of choices made sure all guest had something they liked to eat. The dining area was clean and spacious. We were pleasantly greeted by every employee we came in contact with. From the young man painting baseboards in the lobby, to the housekeeping staff & the young host in the breakfast area—-all spoke to us and hoped we had a great stay.

No complaints. i failed to ask if they had senior discounts. My fault. I feel the price was a little steep compared to other local hotels.
