The inn was wonderful! The staff went above and beyond, and were very friendly! They provided all the additional equipment you could possibly need; bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, shelling equipment, coolers, filtered water, etc. They also had lovely outdoor lounge areas, including two hammocks, several lounge chairs, two outdoor grills, and an outdoor shower! The location is perfect, we are partial to that area and it is right down from where we rented for several years! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Super location on the east side, jumped on one of their bicycles to ride to the lighthouse each morning to watch the sunrise.

I was so impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of my studio. The owners have also done a wonderful job of providing lots of thoughtful extras that go above and beyond a typical beach inn. Everything from plenty of towels, easy access to bikes to inviting sitting areas scattered through the property make this a special and charming place to stay on the east end of Sanibel.

We loved everything about the inn. The decor was cute. The shell cleaning station was a nice thing to use. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable.

The proximity to the beach. The relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the bikes and the use of the wagon and the beach chairs. This place is a hidden gem. We loved it and plan to return one day.

This place offers really everything all the other good reviews say. Only if large personal space is your thing, this place may not be yours, because there are quite a few units on a relatively small lot. But who needs that with an exceptionally well kept, extraordinarily well appointed unit with staff who really care you have everything you need and more!

Location was awesome, the room was great, clean, bright and comfortable. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach. The resort had umbrellas, chairs and bicycles for resort guest. We were right across the street from the lighthouse Cafe and the best ice cream shop on the island. Joe (the owner) and Dawn were extremely friendly, they really cared about our stay. We have been to Sanibel many times and stayed at a few different resorts, we will definitely be returning to Tarpon Tale Inn soon.

The location was great. Easy walk to the beaches nd the Sanibel Lighthouse. The Innkeeper and owner were great and we enjoyed talking to them. The relaxing areas outside our room that were part of the Inn were a bonus. We enjoyed having a kitchen and grills outside to use during our stay. All the little things were well thought out right up to the seashell washing station.

This Inn had a real Florida holiday vibe but with all the comforts of home. The decor and facilities were excellent. The outside area was wonderful with plenty of niches to read a book out of the sun. The beach a short walk away. wonderful place.

Very comfortable and outdoor shower is fantastic. everything for the beach is provided including a wagon to take chairs, umbrella etc. even providing bikes which are 100% necessary to get around. staff is outstanding. Dawn and Joe were so helpful and made everything easy and hassle free

Tarpon Tale Inn met and exceeded Our Expectations. We wanted a nice relaxing vacation for Our Anniversary. Room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet and nice. Staff was Great and it is in an Excellent Spot! Definitely will consider Returning in the Future!

There were several restaurants-sit down, deli, sweets shop right on the block. We were able to walk to most amenities with an ice cream cone in hand! We also had a kitchenette to make meals.
Our room was quiet and comfortable as well as equipped with all we needed. We have no complaints.
