Our lakefront room with porch was the perfect getaway with friends. The Indian restaurant was fantastic. Will stay here again.

Coffee wasn't as good as usual (weaker) and hot water wasn't hot enough. Breakfast could use an overall upgrade.

Location and staff

Physically it’s kind of a dump. We had a mechanical issue that got fixed. Harsh bright lights everywhere. Rock-hard pillows. Paint peeling and thin walls.

The property is basically a motel. If the room doesn’t face the lake it faces a parking lot. I went to the room and it was dingy and smelled stale. Misrepresented by Booking .com. I would not stay at the property and left. The management was gracious in refunding my money.

The hotel was lakefront and the view was nice. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Great for a night stay. Variety of coffee /tea options available until 10pm, which was great. Hot water/ shower had sufficient water flow.

For people who mistakenly assume that you can walk around the lake, there is a residential house right next to the hotel, so you only have limited access to the lake, mostly right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. Musty smell in the hallways.

Loved the comfort of the room. High end finishes; glassware, mugs, brand name coffee maker, lots of outlets, granite bathroom countertops, lots of towels, shampoo, hair dryer, professional grade A/C unit, comfortable large beds, space for everything! Thanks so much!

Excellent Indian restaurant - very good food

The view was nice, the room very comfortable with a small seating area to watch TV, ( we were there Superbowl weekend ), or just look out at the lake. The restaurant was nice, the food was excellent, and service great.

We upgraded to a room for people with mobility issues as my husband has two bad knees and severe arthritis and they named a flat fee for the upgrade, but didn't mention that this fee would be for both nights, so when I went to check out, I owed another 27 dollars, so the upgrade wasn't 27, it was 54 dollars. I just wish they would have given me the total price instead of the price for one night. Also, the room we were in is supposed to be wheelchair accessible and most of the room was, but if anyone is in there with a wheelchair they're going to have a very hard time going out onto the porch because of the large lip for the door track and the fairly large step down. There should be a ramp at least for them to go down. My husband even had a hard time and he's not in a wheelchair.
