The setting is wonderful!
The only small improvement is if the overhead lights could be dimmable.

Our stay at the Lakehouse Inn was SO lovely. We received complimentary cider upon arrival, along with a free bottle of wine. The complimentary pastries and tea, along with the amazing breakfast selection (ordering from a menu!) really made us feel cozy and welcome. The rooms were very tidy and cute (would recommend the lake view suites!), and the staff was so kind. I came in the winter, but I would definitely come in the summer as well, since they're the only inn with exclusive access to the lake, with kayaks/other water sport items for their residents only :) I'm so glad we chose this over a typical hotel experience. It also had very convenient access to many different towns & places to visit in the Berkshire area!
It would be nice if I could log into my streaming services via the TV, but since we were there to disconnect it wasn't a huge deal!

The sink outside of the bathroom was awkward.
Somehow, pillowcases and bed linens weren’t smoothed out when we arrived at our room.

Very short drive to both downtown Lee and lenox. Great lake views. Kayak usage. Breakfast, drinks, and brownies. Staff. Room was on the small side but clean, updated and comfortable.
Would like a full mini fridge, bolt on the door, and maybe a door sweep on the bottom of the door to block the hall lights and sounds.

Generous and delicious. The staff was cordial but not intrusive.
Breakfast could be a little earlier 8am. That way we can get on the road faster since all sites are driven to.

the staff are amazing once you walk through the front door! Jennifer was fantastic, offered us Hot Apple Cider as we checked in . the room is quaint but pretty too, bathroom is beautiful. the view of the lake though , breathtaking

the lake house inn was an amazing find! it was so clean, rooms were made so nicely, the view of the lake was pretty, staff extremely helpful and kind, in a great area with towns and tons of restaurant options near by. Definitely would stay here again! breakfast was included and it was very cute and simple and there is a small bar you can order drinks at. Slept great - bed was comfortable and bathroom was very clean with good shower. Totally recommend- really can’t think of anything bad to say or something I wasn’t happy with. only thing I would recommend is if you plan to get dinner nearby try to make a reservation! the French bistro place or Alta wine bar were very good options
You can hear people in the rooms above walking on the floor boards but this was very minimal and didn’t bother us at all

The wine selection and cheese plate at 4:00 was a wonderful treat for relax time to soak up some sun with the prominent lakeside view of sunsets and activities over and on Laurel Lake. Breakfasts were wonderful, a delight, and always a surprise. We are so looking forward to our return to this special location for kayaking, paddle boarding, and friendly family.

The lake house was amazing. Beautiful property. The house is magnificent. We met new friends during our stay. Everyone was really great. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was a really nice touch. Cody was great.

Great location. Beautiful views on the lake. Very clean. Kayaks and swimming! Wine and cheese at 4:00 p.m. Pleasant breakfast.
We had to climb two flights of stairs and stay in a dormer room in which the air conditioning was fixed at a temperature too cold for us. Woken at 4:45 a.m. by someonein the hallway. Very close to a main thoroughfare so plenty of traffic noise.

They were so nice and accommodating of our family's special needs (broken leg, young infant, cancer). we chose the right place to finally get our family together despite hardships keeping us apart. The space and staff really made the trip special and comfortable.

The space and history of the property was an unexpected surprise. Being winter and a snow storm to boot, it was still a cozy place to catch some R & R. The breakfasts were 5 star! Coffee as well...
The pic of the room I chose had a fireplace and I did pay a very high price, so I was somewhat disappointed about that.

Lovely setting on a lake, clean and cozy. Visited The Mount and The Clark Art Institute, as well as a delicious Peruvian restaurant, during a one night stay. No breakfast because of Covid, but had a coffee tray outside my door in the morning, which seemed the heart of luxury.

walls are thin. being on the bottom floor you can hear people moving around above you and people walking down the stairs very easily
