The innkeeper was so friendly and welcoming! We felt right at home when we visited, including the yummy hot breakfast that was ready for us each morning :)

Located on the edge of the historic district of Napa town. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars.

Nice house within walking distance of downtown Napa. It was perfect for us to have a two room suite with a shared bathroom. Parking behind the house was convenient. The rooms were clean.

It was rather complicated to meet the host, which involved several WhatsApp messages and a phone call. Codes were needed to open all doors but what codes were needed were not fully communicated (hence the phone call). There was no fridge in the room. Even though we were paying a handsome amount for the room, we got put on the ground floor, which was actually more or less underground and quite damp. The host even gave us towels "in case" water leaked in. There was a very strange decoration over the bed. There was only one option for breakfast which we could not take to the room, so we skipped breakfast. At least we could bring a cup of tea to the room. No fruit. No bread roll. No cereal. We were considering staying two nights before we came, but are glad we only stayed one.

So charming and fittingly named! The staff was great and so accommodating. Nice touches with snacks, coffee and teas always available in living room/dining room. Bountiful breakfast was amazing! Location in downtown Napa made for quick access to restaurants after long day of winery visits. Highly recommend Cabernet House!

Unique & Beautiful wonderful breakfast!

location is excellent, walking distance for the 1st street. Room was super clean and the house is more than 100 years of age, a trip to the past. Breakfast was also a highlight.

Paris room is too small for a couple to enjoy properly and the bath requires an upgrade . it feels old and dirty .

The breakfast was PHENOMENAL and the location was perfect!

The room was quite dark and there were no electrical outlets by the bed or desk.

Very noisy and you can smell the kitchen in the room. Also a lot of signs and rules which make it oddly uncomfortable as if you’re doing something wrong. Same with the staff - was quite strange. cleanliness should be better

What’s not to like?! It’s exactly what I envisioned when I booked a quaint bed and breakfast in Napa. I loved the community breakfast served with other patrons in the morning. The Belgian waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream was hot and delicious! Complementary bottle of Merlot was the cherry on top. Room was comfortable and clean with lots of extras. The full community kitchen was very convenient.

Breakfast was wonderful. It is walking distance of Napa night life, restaurants and tasting rooms

The road noise was terrible. They provide a sound machine but it does not cover the traffic.
