I loved the seating area along the River. Our family sat around in the evening sharing stories with shade, a breeze, and the quiet neighborhood making the experience delightful.

Beautiful location. However, it had rained so didn't get to really take advantage of the grounds. Good breakfast. Our room actually was large with two separate rooms. Dog friendly.

Didn't really care for the dog in the dining room begging at the table for food. I love dogs but mine doesn't beg at the table. Also didn't care for all the half-chewed dog bones in the main room. Manager was a bit rude and seemed totally exasperated on the night we checked it. She seemed better the next day.

Owner’s dogs and cat are allowed on all lobby furniture as well as allowed to sit right next to your table, drooling and staring at you as you eat in the dining area - so you need to not mind pet hair on your clothes and dogs near you while you eat. Dogs also barked loudly when people come inside the lobby or down the stairs. If you’re used to dogs, it’s not too big a deal. Guests were allowed to smoke on the porch area, which meant that on several occasions, I could not enjoy sitting out on the porch unless I was willing to deal with it and return to my room smelling like cigarette smoke. I was under the impression that the entire property was non-smoking as the policy states that there is a fine imposed for smoking on the property.

The location is great! Historic downtown Glen Rose is just right there! Breakfast was awesome!

I did not care for the breakfast.

They have 2 very sweet dogs but one of them bit my friend. She had to step over the dog because he was in the hallway lying on the floor blocking the door. I don’t think they should let them run around the hotel because it is not safe.

I liked everything about Inn On the River. Convenient, great location, fabulous breakfast, and welcoming to my little dogs. We loved it, also the little restaurant in the back was one of my favorite throughout the whole trip. Thank you guys!

River is only about 18 inches deep. No refrig, tv, microwave, or blow dryers in any rooms, or available.

The peaceful atmosphere and gloriously beautiful lawn that stretches to the river was the therapy we needed. I love the friendly dogs and super friendly staff.
