We always go away for our anniversary, often to exotic places and in high end hotels in suites. This was our first time in Ogunquit and our first time staying in a B&B. Based on this experience, this will become a go to destination.

The Elmore House was well maintained and exceptionally clean, which is very important!! The decor was perfect for a New England get away and you felt right at home from the moment you arrived!!! Loved our whole experience!!!

We love everything. Super Pretty, Clean, breakfast was to so delicious. Also, the bed was super comfortable. Michael and Bill were are ones the nicest and humble people we have ever met. We are definitely going back and highly recommend.

Michael and Bill were the sweetest hosts! They were so pleasant, good humored, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were beautifully appointed and breakfast was generous and delish. While the house is located near a well traveled road it was surprisingly quite in the rooms. Such a great intro to the area!

That our stay wasn’t longer!

We had the suite, which was beautifully appointed and large. I LOVED the whirlpool tub. The bed mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were very soft cotton.

Bed pillows were not as fluffy as I like.

Would rate it even higher if there was a pool or hot tub and comfy robes provided for guests.

Bill and Mike are the amazing Innkeepers of this simply superb B&B in Wells. They welcomed me with open arms and are really the nicest people you will ever meet! i am handicapped and they took such good care of me that I never wanted to leave! The farmhouse is decorated superbly with a mixture of coastal and antique designs. My bed was the biggest King bed I’ve ever seen and I think it could have had a family of 5 in that room! You are close to everything and nestled between Ogunquit and Wells Beach, so perfect spot. Breakfast was wonderful, homemade blueberry and coffee cakes, fruit and waffles with tons of berries and delightful cream! Yum!!

Leaving it!

it’s the tranquility you feel as soon as you enter the Inn. The warm and friendly reception by Mike and Bill was genuine and natural, as if meeting friends you haven’t seen in years. The rooms were all different and each one beautifully and tastefully decorated. We slept like babies, the beds were soooo comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, Chef Ramsey would definitely be pleased!!

The hosts were excellent!! A nice,quiet place to stay. The gourmet breakfast was the best!!

The breakfast was out of this world, soooo good with home fries and eggs Benedict along with homemade cinnamon cake, coffee, juice and fruits. They are fantastic and assure you won’t be disappointed!

As far as breakfast, Bill cooks the delicious 3 course meal while Mike (Garcon) caters to your wants and needs! Ours started with some delicious breakfast cakes (yes that's plural). Followed by a large fresh fruit dish (cantaloupe and watermelon) completed with the daily changing "entree". (Day one for us was fruited french toast, then day 2 was eggs Benedict.) Both Delicious. (You won't even need lunch!) The owners were very accommodating to my husband's dietary constraints and made adjustments. The queen size bed was very comfortable with a quite AC wall unit that we could adjust to our comfort. Private bath was clean and had everything we needed, the shower had good water pressure too. The building itself is very quite. There is a pretty yard filled with beautiful flowers that attract small birds, making this a zen like relaxing atmosphere, if you have time to spare. It is located between the villages of Ogunquit and Kennebunk Port. Very central to lots of shopping, eating areas, beaches, and recreation trails. Bill and Mike were friendly, considerate and accommodating.

There was nothing not to like

I wish I would have booked the whole week! Every part of our stay was so nice; the afternoon shade of the maples in the yard was the perfect spot to unwind and the French toast with fresh berries was an absolute treat! Bill and Mike are the best and we are already talking about our return!
