The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating - rated a 10+. Internet worked fine and the room had everything we needed including coffee.

The parking was a bit tough (very small) and the Inn only had one entrance off of Sunset Blvd going East only. Traffic was rough and we had to travel around a few streets to figure out how to get onto Sunset going in the correct direction to get into the parking lot. Once we were parked at the Inn, we did not want to leave for fear of not being able to find a parking spot at the Inn or nearby. As the entrance is literally at the stoplight it makes it a bit rough going in and out.

Location is close to our son's apartment.

Bad: We checked in at 5pm and we were given the worst room by the intersection of Sunset Blvd and S Kenter Ave. There was constant road noise. We asked to change our room but they said nothing was available. Stains on the carpet. Worse: Bathroom is nothing close to the pictures. The shower is the 30"X30" hole just like those '50 tract homes in San Francisco/Daly City. Even I, a 105-lb woman, bumped my elbows in the shower. Some grout lines are black. Bathroom is puny. Layout is terrible. Nowhere to put toiletries. The bathroom needs serious upgrade. Worst: The thermostat is unresponsive. I was tortured all night by the room temperature. It just got getting hotter and hotter even I adjusted it all the way down to 65 from 11pm - 2am. The single-room Fujitsu unit blew out hot air every few minutes. I had to call front desk at 2am. Someone came and adjusted it down so AC kicked in. Then I wanted to adjust to warmer an hour later and the unit did not respond much. To make it worse, there is no option to turn off the unit. I did not sleep until 6 am. After getting a couple of hours of sleep in the morning from exhaustion. We jumped in the car and hurried to our lunch appointment. I called the front desk while we were on our way. They only offered me a 10% discount for the unrestful night. I had to check out even I have a 2-night reservation. And they made me go back to check out before 12:30pm. They could not accommodate us to return at 2pm to check out. I had to cancel my lunch appointment just to run away from here ever.

Staff was so accommodating and kind. Rooms were clean.and beds comfy.

They definitely need a new key system.
