It got the job done, which was all I really needed. Needed somewhere to sleep during a 2-day work event. So, I booked the 2 bedroom cottage for a coworker and myself. We checked in late at night and left early the next morning, so the stay was very brief. It's a motel- like a genuine vintage motor hotel. You pull your car right up, there's built-in storage inside the rooms. They had a great selection of soap, shampoo, shower cap, ear plugs, etc. I'm glad they provided ear plugs, because Wilshire Blvd is very loud with cars. I like that the room was accessible.

The front bedroom is not private. Instead, it's the first room when you walk in, and then you go down a hallway to the other bedroom. It would be great if there was a door so that the person in the front bedroom could have some privacy. In my case, since I was staying with a coworker, it was not appropriate to be walking into the room where they were sleeping. Since the front door to exit was through where they were sleeping, unless you want to wake someone up, you're kind of trapped in the back bedroom. The parking was difficult- I'm glad it's gated, but it was a pretty tight squeeze, and there's a very steep driveway to go up.

We chose this property for its location near a friends home. It is a great price for the amount of space we got. Family of four. Two bedrooms with two baths. Plus parking. The people who work there are very nice. Liked having a security guard at the gate. After all, it’s an urban location and bungalow style gives very easy access, so with gate and security it was very safe.

It is tired. There is so much potential here to be a little retro bungalow. We had windows open bc the weather was lovely but that ensures that everyone can hear us, and worse, we could hear everyone. Right down to late night hacking. A little too intimate.
