The person that checked me in was great. She was warm and professional. She let me check in early and I really appreciate it. She also walked over and helped me get into my room because I was having a hard time with the keypad. She was great!
The sheer in the front window had a huge slash. The bed along the outside wall had a significant dip. Something was broken. The bathroom window did not have a screen.

Loved the room and the atmosphere. I wish we had stayed longer. Looking forward to coming back.
The bathroom could have been cleaned better.

The cooler and hammock were an awesome touch. Unfortunately the weather turned on me and I wasn't able to use the bike rental.
I could hear every single step being taken above me louder than if it were in the room I'm staying in.
Also, the check in process was a little strange. Texts with links to fill out information...I suppose I like the flexibility of being texted the room number and code as I arrived after office hours. But when I got a text to put a credit card on file for "incidentals" I tired to call and do that but the woman who answered the phone seemed to have no clue what I was talking about. Then I lost signal because Northern CA, and they never called me back, so maybe they didn't need it? Or maybe it was a phishing scam...? Who knows for certain?

Great location in proximity with the ski park. Confortable beds, quick check in and check out. Spacious rooms.
Not the cleanest, the appearance was also different from what they offered in their pictures (at least the room that we were given). At the moment of my reservation I thought the wooden sealing was so gorgeous but they gave us a plain room that looked different, even when we paid for “delux” or something like that. The shape of the bathtub was also poor.

Two bedrooms. All weather flooring. Outdoorsy vibe! Great artwork. Cool common areas Female employee at the front desk and the cleaning staff were all very friendly.
The mandatory $25 fee for using gear should be optional. Unfinished wall. Broken bike rack. Community sink faucets loose. The male employee was not very professional and it felt like we were inconveniencing him with questions; unhelpful.

Very geared towards younger, outdoors, clients. The room had several popular phone charging cables, a clothes and boot drier, a bike rack, and metal (instead of plastic) cups. A large hammock is across the ceiling in each room. Weird, but interesting. The outdoor fire pit was very nice.
It appears this is an old motel that was fixed up for young, outdoor travelers. We liked it, but it may not appeal to everyone.

Overall service experience, amentities, and setup of the firepit/bbq area is perfect! This place was recommended by a friend and I can see why they always come back to this place. We will definetly come back with the family!
Everything was great, however if i had 1 suggestion, which not a deal breaker, my wife would have hoped the hot water was hotter since water was just warm enough to enjoy a shower. But hotter water would have made her that much happier.

The place itself is fantastic! Big rooms, fun with hammock in a room, playful territory - fire pit, outdoor stage, outdoor bar with grills, fantastic view, smores - wow!
But the room could be cleaner.
It wasn’t a complete disaster, but old dirt in the corners, a stale-looking sink, and a big suspicious spot on bed linen didn’t allow thoroughly enjoying this place's beauty. All these issues are easy to fix with relevant cleaning.

The full kitchen, outdoor space to spend time with friends.....and the comfort of the beds. The full kitchen made it possible for me to be on vacation with three kids!!
The peeling paint and the bathrooms were needing an update.

Cool amenities. We enjoyed the room hammock.
Pillows are so flat! Our linens were a little gross too- a fitted sheet on the bed would have been better

Good location, stacked communal kitchen, nice outdoor area.
The rooms could use some renovation, especially the bathrooms. Not as polished as I was expecting. The kind of A/C unit that keeps you up at night.

The lodge is new and very nice. The facility is a good size and easy to use. The lights are on at night, so you can camp safely.
The exterior, interior and souvenirs are all tasteful.
Easy access to Mount Shasta and nearby waterfalls, comfortable to return to the inn and rest during the hot weather.
I forgot my important ring in the room, so I contacted them after checking out, but was told that it was not there. Please contact me if you find it, such as keeping it for a few days.
When I was talking about how thin the walls were, the person next to me hit the wall.

The staff on site were all great.
The AC/ heating unit made God awful noises all night. So much so that it was either get some sleep or be cold. The beds could also use an upgrade, they are very hard.

The location is good and self check-in is nice. The staff reached out to us before we arrived.
Noise. I am light sleeper and it was too much for me.

the employees were very nice! they helped push my Prius through the snow
some of the outlets didn’t work and when we entered and turned on the light switch the lights didn’t come on-you had to mainly turn on all the lamps

The beds, TV, mini fridge and microwave were sufficient. The location is very close to the main downtown area of Mt. Shasta Blvd. but too far to walk so we used our car to get around. The community kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, and plates.
The heater in our room was very loud and there was Qtips and a hair tie left in our shower. The shower doors had some mold on the glass part that needed to be cleaned. Housekeeping does not change bedding and towels everyday so we had to request towels and toilet paper from the front desk. Since it snowed during our stay, the outdoor fire pit areas were covered and not in use. We were also told that none of the bikes were available to rent and that sleds were $10 per day.

Felt like I got more than what I paid for. I would like to stay more often for nearby winter excursions.
Some of the appliances were old and appeared worn with age however, everything functioned exceptionally well.

Nothing. No customer service
Nobody was at the property to check us in. They charged us for a night's stay but we didn't stay there because no one was there to give us the code to our room. We communicated with them during the day to tell them that we were on the road. We also tried to phone on numerous occasions, but nobody picked up. We finally got someone, and told them that we we were in Redding. We also told them that we were having difficulties with messages as we were on the road. When we finally arrived at the property at 6pm, having been on the road all day, it was completely deserted. We were exhausted, and had to find alternative accommodation. Instead of doing the right thing, they have decided to charge us.

Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed.
Room was much less than clean. Hair in the ice chest, mold on the bathroom ceiling, torn drapes and suspicious looking stains on the decorative pillows.
Coffee shop was not open at 8-bummer.

The Good was that the staff changed the room for us promptly and the room we got was prepared (for someone) had walls, a door and a roof. It was wonderfully quiet too.
As we were the only motel guests in the building.
Where do I begin...from beginning. Far too many emails with "do this... do that", entry codes etc. But worst was arriving after hours of driving to fine the room we were given a code from had NOT been cleaned, linens removed, no toilet paper on roll, ripped curtains... NOT what we paid for or expected. Felt disrespected by management. The excuse given? "We're having problems with the linen." So... it was the linen's fault. We were the ONLY people in a building of at least 10 rooms and paid booking.com $122 for the night. The room just above, meanwhile, which we were provided next, did not have problematic linen.

I like the modern look and updates. the community areas.
The heater was too noisy (kicking on and off every 5 mins) it was really hard to sleep well.
Also, definitely need a blow dryer for the ladies in each room. Some dust on the shelves & baseboards. The bath tub needs cleaning/ or a little renovation. Besides that, lovely place.
