So charming! It was perfectly appointed..except these 2 things. The TV really wasn't user freindly and the frig was small. Did this matter in the whole scheme of things..absolutely not! Unplugging and sitting on back prorch listening to the beautiful sounds of nature and quiteness was priceless. So close to town but far enough away. Thank You for a great stay!

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The house was very clean and coffee was provided (not Keurig which I appreciate!). The banana nut bread is such a nice touch. We will stay here again. Thank you and your family for the hospitality.

Excellent. Just one criticism. The only place we've ever stayed in America that didn't have any provision for making ice, or storing even a small tub of ice-cream. Just a suggestion Darla, but there is room for a relatively compact fridge freezer, instead of the tiny fridge that is there presently.

The cutest little farmhouse! Great location if you are looking to be close to Fredericksburg but in a quieter are with pretty views and horses! Will definitely be back!

What an amazing and beautiful property! We loved the quietness of being just outside town and the outside set up was perfect and beautiful for us to sit and visit. Wonderful large bathroom and nice comfy beds! We will be back!

The property and the surroundings were clean, quiet and well kept. The amenities included delicious baked bread, coffee, smart tv with internet and a fire pit!
Mike and Darla were friendly and helpful. It was very apparent that they go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Would visit again.

This property is a beautiful spot to relax while in Fredericksburg. It is clean, bright and cheerful, and the hosts were super kind, responsive and helpful. It was nice to stay in a country setting, but also be within 5 minutes of shopping and restaurants. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We loved staying here and would absolutely come again! The cabin is SO CUTE and CLEAN! Loved the decorations and all the special touches from the nice soaps, lotions, to delicious homemade banana bread! Hosts were so helpful and friendly! Loved the location! Just a 5 minute drive to downtown. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

What a cute fun location. We enjoyed waking up to coffee on the deck and relaxing by the fire pit watching the sun set.
It is decorated so cute and it invites you to enjoy every inch! The location is perfect for being away but, deceivingly close to the wineries and wildflowers. It’s an absolute must stay place. Amazing

The house is beautiful and cosy, all furnishings are incredibly well kept. Whole place was impeccably clean. Beds are comfortable. Outdoor area is perfect for spending the evening chatting while having a drink. Quiet area, recommend coming here if you want a relaxing weekend away from everything.

My sister and I had a lovely 2 day retreat together and found this gem on VRBO! Clean and inviting…perfect layout for 2 couples and or small family. Well designed with all the amenities you need. We hope to be back soon when we can enjoy the outdoor area.

I have stayed at quite a few vacation rentals in the Fredericksburg area and this is definitely one of my favorites (if not my favorite)!! It is close enough to town, but out of the hustle and bustle. The place is super clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor area. I can't wait to return!!

Relatively new, perfectly designed farmhouse with 2 comfortable king beds and 2 sofas plus kitchenette (microwave, no oven or cooktop). Beautiful grounds with fire pit (live that one can play yard games, too). Country setting with horses and sheep. So comfortable for 4 people! Will definitely stay here again. Thank you for the yummy pumpkin bread, too!

Great place, good location. Close to town. Walked outside to see farm animals but lots of stickers in grass so wear your cowboy boots when walking around outside.

We arrived late the first night and were amazed at the place. It's so peaceful and soothing. We were in awe of EVERYTHING! The bathroom is HUGE and makes for a nice space to get ready in without being all cramped with 2 people. The amazing huge shower left us speechless. Bed is super comfy. Sitting on the back porch after a day of shopping was the end to a wonderful day! We will definitely be back but will make our stay alot longer. We were here for our 5th yr anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place.

We rented the Smith house and our friends stayed in the Parker and Pfeister houses. They were all very nice and clean and comfy cabins. Love them! Will rent again.

We stayed at Darla and Mikes VRBO for a girls’ weekend. It was so clean, comfy and exceeded our expectations. The outdoor area with the fire pit was lovely and Darla even left a loaf of homemade banana bread. Definitely would recommend.
